Neo smiled at a tree. "You'll find out."

North laughed and shook her head, looking around her and stopping suddenly.

Tyler turned at the same moment and met her eyes. He smiled widely and felt himself walking towards her.

North covered her mouth with her hands and felt tears rise to her eyes. She stumbled back, all the memories of him rushing into her mind. She gripped Neo tightly to prevent herself from falling and a sob escaped her lips.

Neo felt himself beam compulsively. "Go to him, North." He nudged her forward gently.

North listened to Neo and ran into Tyler’s arms, hugging him tightly and burying her face in his neck. Tyler laughed and felt tears rolling down his face as he embraced her, twirling her around.

Neo put his hands together, smiling. He was happy he was able to witness this moment of beautiful reunition between the pair.

North pulled back and looked at Tyler. “I-I’m sorry..I don’t know…I couldn’t remember…” Tyler pulled her close. “Don’t apologize. It’s okay. You had to. It’s okay now, I’m here.” He whispered, kissing her gently.

Neo turned away and peered into the trees. Is someone… watching us?

North kissed him back warmly and wrapped her arms around his neck. Tyler grinned and stroked her hair gently.

Neo walked over slowly. There’s definitely something…

North buried her face in Tyler’s neck, laughing. “I missed you so much..” He murmured, grinning happily. “I missed you too..” She realized as she stood with him.

Neo creeped into the woods slowly, and when he was a few trees in, something dropped onto his back. Neo let out a brief scream before buckling to the ground.

North turned, still clinging to Tyler. “Where’s Neo?” She asked, looking around for him.

Tyler frowned. “Uh (bitch) I don’t know..” North let go of him and walked around. She kept a hold on Tyler’s hand and dragged him along with her.

North walked into the forest and spotted Neo on the ground. “Neo?!” She tan forward and knelt down next to him. Tyler glanced up into the trees and stayed near to her. “Watch out..there could be something here..”

North walked into the forest and tightened her grip on Tyler’s hand. “Neo?” She called, going deeper and deeper. Tyler glanced around him. “North I wouldn’t…”

There was a stir of brambles next to Tyler. A skinny, pale hand reached out and grabbed his foot suddenly.

Tyler gasped and tried shaking it off. North whipped around and saw the hand. “Tyler?!”

The hand fell limply to the ground, made a few spider movements with its fingers then disappeared. More scuttling from the underbrush and the moment was gone.

Tyler grabbed her and pulled her out of the forest. “Stay out of there North. It’s not safe.” North glanced up at him. “But Neo?” Tyler shook his head. “Neo will be fine, he’s a god.”

North protested and ran back into the forest, closely followed by Tyler. “North wait come back! You shouldn’t..”

North turned around and peered around in the trees and on the ground for Neo. “I have to find him.”

Something slunk out of the bushes behind her, walking over slowly. It reached out and put a pale hand on her shoulder.
