“North. Walk away.” Tyler reached out to her. North looked at him frantically and tried to walk away.

The hand tightened its grip on her. "What are you doing here? You're… alive." The speaker's voice sounded oddly like M's.

North stayed silent, her eyes wide with fright. Tyler walked towards her and took her hands. “Shift North, now.”

The speaker laughed. "You can't shift here. Don't try." The grip of the person's hand tightened. "You came here with Neo, yes?"

“Y-yeah.” She stuttered, squeezing Tyler’s hands.

“Good. Come with me. Leave the idiot.” Now, that was extremely familiar, the way the voice said ‘idiot’. It was as if M was right there.

North turned around, letting go of Tyler’s hands. “No North don’t.” Tyler said desperately.

The person backed away and beckoned her. "I won't hurt you. I just want to ask you a few questions."

North glanced back at Tyler. He shook his head frantically. “North…no..” She looked back at the person. “What do you want to ask me?”

"I want to ask you it away from the person who can't even hold a cup right." The person turned and Tyler felt their gaze on him. Ahhh, old "childhood" memories.

North turned and stared at Tyler. “What’s he talking abut?”

The person smirked. "Come, North, let's go. You can discuss this with him when we're done."

North continued to stare at Tyler as she followed the person.

"Tyler can't come," The person suddenly reminded them. "He'll have to stay."

Tyler frowned and turned away. “Fine. Go.” North opened her mouth but no sound came out.

Tyler felt the person's gaze on his back. "Oh, stop feeling so misunderstood. Keep treating her like that and Neo will have your ass on a silver platter."

Tyler turned around and picked up North. “Mine.” He glare at the person and walked away with her.

The person rolled their eyes, and suddenly they were back in front of Tyler and North. They were about 6'0 and skinny, pale, but their face was hidden by a hood.
"Please be reasonable, Mr. I-Can't-Drink-from-Cups."

“I am being reasonable. She’s mine.” He growled. North glanced up at him. “Yeah, he’s mine.”

The person hummed and scooped North easily out of Tyler's grasp. "Be that way, then." He set her down carefully.

North stepped back and took Tyler’s hand. “Who are you?”

"I'll tell you if you leave Tyler. You can come back, I just need some questions answered."

“No. Tell me.” She said stubbornly. Tyler glanced down st her, smiling a bit.”

"No. I will not tell you unless you're alone."

She looked up at Tyler. “Will you tell me?” He didn’t meet her eyes. “I..I…” She let go of his hand. “Should I go with him?” Tyler nodded a little, looking away from her.

The person rolled his eyes. “I’m not going to hurt her, she’ll come back to you safe and sound. Like I’ve said before, stop acting so misunderstood.”

Tyler glared at him and gave Norths hand a squeeze before letting it go. She walked towards the guy.

“Tyler, you can stay there. North, come with me.” The person beckoned her then turned to where they came from, walking in a steady pace.

North followed him. “So who are you?”

“Wait to find that out. We’re almost there.” He lead her for a few minutes to a little home remniscent of Zackary and Ari’s cottage.
He pushed open the door and gestured to a chair. “Sit.”
