G's face seemed to fall physically as if North's comment had actually struck him. No comment, unlike G, ever struck M like that; with the rude shit she's said to G's tall, haughty father. Unlike M, G hasn't seen as much as 6,000-year-old M has. G is, compared to his family, a child.

G gave them a slack-faced look before turning and disappearing into the forest. The underbrush rustled behind him as he fled then fell silent.

Tyler gazed after him. “You shouldnt’ve said that..” North looked guiltily in the same direction. “I probably shouldnt have..”

“And now he’s not going to tell us where Neo is..” She finished. Tyler shook his head and stroked her hair gently. “What do you think happened?” North shrugged.

A breeze of wind stroked the leaves and bushes as the pair croon over each other. The forest was beautiful, but neither of the pair could admit they felt happy with what they've done.

North looked at the ground for a minute then stood up and turned towards Tyler. "I'm going to try and find him. Can you look for Neo?" Tyler stood as well and nodded. "Course. He won't forgive you though." She sighed. "I know, but it's worth a try."

There was absolutely no telling where either of the Whembrookes were. This was going to be a difficult task for both.

North went into the forest, glancing around and walking slowly. Tyler went in too but walked the opposite direction. This forest is huge, i'm never going to find him.. He thought.
