G scowled at a tree again. “Forget it. It’s fine.”

North continued looking guilty. Tyler glanced up at Neo. She's going to feel bad for weeks now. I thought you said she was getting better.

Neo’s gaze snapped to Tyler. Shut the hell up. She did something wrong. Don’t try and make me feel bad for what she deserves.

I'm not. But don't you see what's happening now. You need to punish her or something because right now she's questioning everything she's done wrong and hating herself for it.

Punishing her is exactly what I’m doing now. Unless you had another method of punishment….? His lip twitched somewhat in his anger.

Fine..fine. Tyler glanced down at North. She felt Tyler watching her but didn't turn to see. Her head was down, and she kept it that way.

Neo fluffed himself out. “Anyway, let’s go, North. Bring you back home.” His voice mellowed out slowly.

North looked up now, first to Neo, then to Tyler, and back again to Neo.

“What?” Neo asked as G trotted off.

“Are you bringing Tyler back?” She asked quietly.

“Why should I?” Neo viciously asked. Today was not a good day for him.

North opened her mouth and her eyes clouded with tears. “You..w-wouldn’t?”

Neo glared at her but it immediately softened. “I… I guess I could…”

"Please Neo.." She said desperately, glancing up at Tyler's concerned face.

Neo glanced at Tyler to North. “You’re aware it’ll be different. Coming back into the living world.”

Tyler nodded, smiling a bit down at her.
