M sighed. “I have food to make and books to read. Just go rest, I’ll sleep later.”

"By read you mean sit there with your eyes glazed over I assume?"

M gave another sigh, this one deeper than the other. It admitted defeat (which M never did).
“I suppose you’re right, North.”

"I never win arguments with you!" She cried out happily. "Now go sleep."

Pax gave a faint meow, nudging M’s hand worriedly.
M gave a slight nod and rose. Sleep didn’t sound too bad for the moment anyway.

North turned her head to look at Tyler. "You should get some rest too." He said, looking down at her.

M hummed. “Yes, that was the agreement.”

"But I can't sleep its the daytime!" She complained, trying to get out of sleeping.

M stood up and walked over, nudging her from the chair. “Come on.”

North huffed and stood up, wobbling a bit. "I did sleep." She grumbled.

“You’re still tired, then.” M took her by the shoulder and led her upstairs.

"I'm always tired. Doesn't mean I have to sleep." She said, trying to suppress a yawn.

M pushed open her door. “Go sleep anyway.” His hand was warm on her shoulder, but when he lifted it off, it sent chills down her spine.

North grabbed his hand before he walked away. "You have to come with me. How else will I know you're sleeping?"

M sighed gently. “You really want me to sleep with you?”

"Yes. You have to." She demanded, hugging him and looking up at him.

M sighed gently and gazed back down at her. “Fine. I’ll sleep with you.”

"Good i'm tired." She walked into her room and laid down on the bed near the edge, curled up into a little ball.

M walked over, looking down at her. “Do you always sleep at the edge of the bed?”

"Do you not?" She frowned up at him.

“Well, no. It’s healthier to stretch out.” M laid down carefully.

M gave a gentle laugh. “No, it’s just logic.” He stretched out a little.

"But it's uncomfortable." She said, her head laying on the bed and not on the pillow.

"I'm not doing it because it's uncomfortable. You can't lay straight the wrong way." She laughed a little with him.
