M gave a slight scowl and paused near the door once he saw Tyler, skulking in the frame’s shadow.

Why is that such a surprise?

Lila shrieked happily and ran to him, falling into his lap. “Hey sweetie.” He grinned, briefly glancing up at M. “Thanks M.” He said. “Mama?” Lila asked, looking around. “I thought she was with you two.” Tyler said, frowning a little.

M grunted and shook his head in response to Tyler’s question. “She could be in your room.”

Lila shook her head. "I look." She said, laying her head on Tyler's chest. "She might be with Pax. But she wouldn't leave." Tyler replied.

M sighed heavily and leaned off of the door. “I can go look.”

"You sure? I can go if you want to stay here." Tyler said, moving to stand up.

M shook his head like the stubborn oldie he was and walked out of the room and to go look for North.

Lila waved and sat with Tyler, pointing to words she knew as he read.

M went upstairs to check in all the rooms and peeked his head outside to check if she was out there or not.
