M rolled his eyes. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

"It is weird.." North agreed quietly, looking down at the pool.

M scooted subtly closer. Pax squeaked. “What are you doing?”
“Nothing!”

North sighed deeply and laid back, resting her hands over her face.

M glanced up at her and dropped Pax into the pool, grinning. Pax went in with a loud squawk, then resurfaced, spluttering.

M glanced up at her and dropped Pax into the pool, grinning. Pax went in with a loud squawk, then resurfaced, spluttering.

“True love at its finest.” North muttered. She dropped her hands to her sides, drumming her fingers on the side of the pool.

M laughed as Pax spit at him. He scrambled up out of the pool and attacked, which ultimately led the latter to be in the water.

North flinched a little at the splashes coming from M and Pax. She sat up, moving a little ways away from them and laid back down, playing with a little lizard that was scurrying around in the grass.

M resurfaced out of the water with a gasp, grabbing onto the edge of th pool. Which was really pointless but no one would tell him thst.

North let the lizard crawl around on her hands for a while. Whimpering sadly when it crawled away towards the pool.

“Oh hi,” M greeted the lizard, booping its snoot. It looked offended.

(Oh thos is a good idea: We could always do some sort of spin off with their kid and someone else related to M or something (but like the M relation would be G or Neo that’d be fun))

North laughed quietly, watching him. “I don’t think it likes you.”

M feigned offence. “Well I don’t like it.” The lizard just sat there.

“But it’s so cute!” North pouted, picking the lizard up and letting it crawl around on her hand.

M opened his mouth to respond, but he jumped instead with a squeak of his own. Pax surfaced beside him, giggling.

North rolled her eyes, pulling her hair out of her face. She ignored them and played with her lizard friend instead, tickling it with a little piece of grass.

M clambered out of the water before Pax could assault him more, shaking out water from his hair and clothes. Pax awwwed.
The lizard “kkkkkkkkhhhhhh”d at her, opening its mouth.

North glared up at M, getting splashed from him shaking out the water. She looked down at the lizard a minute later and imitated its noise.

M glared back harmlessly, meandering over. “What is it doing?”
“Khhhhhhhhhhhh”

“How would I know? I’m not a lizard.” She replied, setting the lizard down on the side of the pool. “It’s probabaly going to spit poison at me or something.”

M picked up the lizard, who continued its kkkkkhkkhkhkhkhkhhhhhhhhhhhhing. “I don’t think you should set it down this close to the pool.”
