“Okay. Forget I ever said anything.” North replied, raising her hands slightly in defense.

Neo huffed and put his muscular arms on the table. "So do you wanna come or not? It's basically up to you, but I thought I'd ask the Mortal that was probably most willing to come."

“Yeah. I’ll come I guess. I’m not that tied down anywhere else.” She shrugged, glancing over momentarily at M and Pax.

M was still holding up Pax, who was purring lowly, kneading M's head.
Neo nodded and sat back in his seat with a sigh. "Whenever you're ready to go…"

(does she need anything or is it understood that her stuff will just be there?)

North nodded, looking back over at the other two and nudging M's leg gently with her foot. "Bye."

M waved a hand at her, unable to speak from the leopard pressing himself against his face. Neo rose slowly with a deep sigh, stretching.
"Enjoy yourselves," He said sharply to his twin, who glared waterily up at Neo.

'I'm sure they will without me around." She smirked, standing up and walking over to Neo.

M blushed faintly past the black of Pax's dark fur, shifting slightly in his chair.
Neo chuckled at her and started walking from the mansion, giving no other good-bye than that.

North followed him, waving briefly at M and Pax before turning back to Neo. "Thank you for rescuing me." She laughed.

Neo chuckled softly and rolled his eyes. "You're welcome. Come on, I'll teleport us." He opened up the door, leading her outside.

"If I hadn't agreed to this, would you have just taken another random person from Earth?" She asked, following him outside.

"Yeah," Neo shrugged. "I wouldn't have taken them without their permission though."

"Mm..that would've been funny though." She remarked, laughing a bit.

Neo frowned and stuck his arm out for her once they were outside. "I dunno. It'd piss M off, then it wouldn't be funny anymore."

North placed her hand on his arm, still smiling but shaking her head a bit. “Whatever you say..”
