Suddenly a husky voice whispered in her ear…

North… North you must leave the room. Go outside… HIs voice sounded faintly familiar.

North smiled at M and walked out the door looking around.

M gave her a confused look. Where… where is she going?

Good. Thank you for listening. Now, go to the fountain, and lean forward into the water.

Why? Who are you? North asked the voice as she walked towards the fountain.

Jus-just do it. You'll find out who I am, soon.

You think I trust the voices in my head? How do I know you're not trying to kill me?

If I wanted to kill you, you'd be dead already. Lean into the goddamn water and I'll explain everything.

North frowned but leaned into the water.

The water WAS WET and when she opened her eyes again she was in a dimly-lit clearing.
"Congratulations, you've made it." The man's voice sounded behind her.

North turned(who is it?)

Zackary was tall, but not as tall as M or Cameron, but about Pax's height. He had neat light brown hair with miss-matched gray eyes. He wore a flannel fabulously and a dark shirt underneath. He was smiling a smile, which showed (unnaturally) pointy white teeth.

North looked around her confused. "Who are you?" She asked the man.

It was M, but he was undistinguishable because his lumpy gray sweater was stained almost black with blood. He seemed to have collapsed, and he was shaking gently.

Ah, here's the girl. So, your brother made sure that she couldn't hurt herself from the inside, and you ensured that she couldn't hurt herself from the outside. Smart, Zackary crooned, but what's she gonna do now?

Zackary grinned. "Hello, North."

North winced as pain shot through her forehead. "I asked who you are."

(is she harry potter? and Zackary doesn't do anything to her physically when he's there)

"I'm Zackary." He responded coolly. "But I wouldn't expect you to know who I am."

"What am I doing here?" She asked, not taking her eyes off of Zackary.

"I just wanted to talk to you." He raised his hands. "I'm not going to do anything to you."

"About what?"

"About your parents."

"I don't know shit about my parents and if I did I probably wouldn't tell you."

"Oh, no…" He laughed gently. "Actually, I was going to tell you about your parents because M's not gonna do jack shit. But if you really don't want to know about them I can easily send you back, into the dangerous war zone of that dimension."

"What do you know?" She asked tentatively.

"I know whatever you want to know. I've known your parents for a long time. From the moment I was fourteen, to the moment Cameron was laying on his deathbed."

"Where are the rest of them? The other nine?"
