"What the hell are you two talking about out here?" M's irritable head had poked out of his room and was glaring at… them both.

North huffed and turned away. There. He's awake, you happy?

Yeah. Zackary smirked and stuck his tongue out at M.
"Don't think I can't see you, Zackary." M glared at him. "And North, what are you doing up so early?"

"Can't sleep. Also he," She pointed at Zackary, "Is being really annoying. I can see why you don't like him."

Zackary huffed. Says the one who sent me away and comes back for me.
"So that's where you went. I was curious and rather concerned." M looked at North.

Leave again then. I don't care. North turned around again and started down the stairs.

Zackary sighed and disappeared with a pop after growling, Gladly.

North scowled and went to her room. The place where Zackary was in her head turned dark. (wasn't she gonna meet oliver?)

(I don't think you should've expected me to change his character because I had something planned. Bad writers do that. I'm not a bad writer, as you know… now. Bad writing technique is changing a character's personality so what they're planning happens faster. GOOD writers use the character's personality and for example… send them away and add variety to the story!)

North stayed in her room most of the day, barely eating or sleeping. Trying to figure out why she was so lonely without Zackary.

There was a knock on the door. "North?" Pax's voice asked. "M wants to talk to you."

She glanced up at the door, then returned her gaze to the ground. "What is it." Her voice came out low and tired.

"I don't know. He just wanted to talk to you."

"Fine then."

"Are you going to talk to him? Cuz if you don't he'll come up here."

"I'm not coming down, he'll probably try to force feed me or something." She growled.

"Alright…" Pax went downstairs and passed on the news. M himself soon after had opened the door without permission and walked in, looking annoyed but holding a plate of food.

"I'm not hungry."
