Zackary ignored her once again, possibly because he was in the middle of a sentence. "Anyway, I was looking for Ari, but then he did something… and I dunno."
"What'd he do?" The smaller of the pair sat up onto one of the steps and could be distantly seen by North, but it was too dark for her to make out any details.

Zackary stood and his brother gave him a weird look. Zackary floated over and kneeled next to North. What's happening? He gently grabbed her and helped her sit up.

I haven't eaten in two days, haven't slept in three..I think it's catching up to me.

Gods, North… Zackary used his weight to lift her up and looked around. "OLIVER?"
"I'm right here!"
"Goddamn you're so short I didn't see you. Can you make some food?"
"Sure." Oliver nubbed off.

North whimpered in pain and bent over.

Zackary threw her arm over his neck and lifted her up… somehow… and brought her upstairs into the guest bedroom where Cameron and Xanthe stayed. He put her down on the bed then tucked her in.
"Get some rest."

Zackary looked down at her. You shouldn't be so sorry for me. Neo came and told Oliver and I about what happened to M and the others. I'm not sure why you left but it was bad timing. They got restationed somewhere else.

What?! She sat up, too quickly, and fell back down on the bed.

Zackary gazed down at her. The Gods started to notice how much travel was happening from that dimension, therefore Neo was barely able to restation them somewhere else under the Gods' noses.

So it's my fault, and i'll never see them again. (i think i have to go)

I highly doubt it was your fault. However, the second portion of the statement is quite true.

North sat speechless on the bed.

Zackary bowed his head a little. Oliver should be up with the food soon.

She nodded, still gazing silently at the wall.

North nodded again and set her head down on the pillow. Her eyes stayed wide open as she lay there.

Zackary looked down at her with concern. Do you want me to do anything?
