North rolled her eyes and smirked. "I can't believe you."

(cackles madly)

Pax laughed at his own joke.
Zackary groaned in her head, apparently dying at how bad that joke was.

"I'm going back to the house. Don't chase me with your bad jokes." She said, turning and walking back through the brush.

M rolled his eyes. “Do either of you want to come with me to see Neo?”

She turned around and looked over at M. "Yeah I do."

Pax plopped onto the ground, almost taking M with him. “No thanks~”
M walked over to North. “Alright. Let’s go, then.” He stuck his hand out.

North took his hand. "Bye Pax."

Pax waved lazily from the patch of sunlight. “Bye guys… stay saaaaaaaafe!”
North blinked and suddenly they were in Neo’s library.

North looked around. "Oh how I missed this."

M rolled his eyes. “It’s only been a month.” He started walking.

North didn't answer and kept walking behind M.

M led her to the wide double doors and knocked. A moment passed and they heard, “Enter.”
M pushed open the doors to reveal Neo, of course, and Insanity. The gangly, dark-purple haired and eyed God.

North walked in, her arms crossed around her chest.

M paused. “Insanity, I didn’t know you were here…”
Insanity glanced at Neo, who looked exasperated. “You said these guys didn’t know.”
“They must’ve found out,” Neo muttered back dully.

"Yeah the big chunks of space falling from the sky must've given it away." She muttered.

Insanity chuckled. “Well, thank you for coming in, you two, but we-“
“Do need help,” Neo interjected.
Insanity glanced at Neo. “Wh-what?”
“We need them to get the orbs.”

North glanced up. "The what?"

M sighed. “No, we can’t get the Orbs for you.”
Neo looked over. “We need someone to do it. Here you two are, ready made.”

North stood there. Confused, and listening to the conversation.

M put his face into his hands. “No, Neo!”
Neo looked at North. “Do you want to help?”

North opened her mouth and glanced over at M. "Uh..yeah. I do."

Neo walked away from Insanity, who looked abashed in a comical way.
“You have to go see Death. M can-“
“I’m not going to take her to see Death! I don’t want to talk to him!”
Neo looked at his twin. “What Death did was his job! You can’t blame him for that!”

"Yeah, c'mon M." She said, taking his arm.

M snapped his head out of his hands and straightened his posture, postively seething with rage. “I can blame him for whatever I want!”
“M, you’re not a Demigod anymore! You’re not as strong as you used to be, and if you go and pick a fight with Death, you’re going to get hurt!”

"Listen to him M, please."

M blatantly ignored North’s wise words and continued glaring angrily at his twin. “I don’t need you to tell me I’m getting weak! I know that! Death is the reason we’re all in this goddamn heap of horse shit!”

North stayed quiet, letting this sort itself out.

“Death is not the reason we’re in this mess. Just go and talk to him, or I’ll make a North go alone!” Neo threatened with his voice raised somewhat.
M stood there, seemingly fighting the want to shout back. He glanced at North, jerked his head to the door and turned back on his brother and Insanity.

"It was your decision to come here in the first place. What did you think you were going to have to do?" She said quietly.
