Her eyes widened and she looked at him. "I…"

He glanced at her waiting for his response "remember we have dinner tonight." he said as he walked out of the study to see if he could match a color from his fabric to the one in his mind

She sighed and retreated to her desk. It irritated her that she couldn't keep her composure around him. Isn't that a sign? Don't forget…

"yes perfect!" he found the color, and fabric that he was thinking of and brought back to his desk

She looked up quickly at his return, then her phone vibrated. She checked it quickly and looked back up again. "I'll be right back," she said, exiting the study.

He looked up and nodded "take all the time you need."

She nodded her thanks and shut the door behind her, so she was alone in the foyer once more.

Gabriel started his design, trying his best not to listen in on her conversation

Nathalie returned soon, looking slightly worn. She sat back down at her desk and resumed her work with no trouble.

He glanced up when she entered "is everything alright?"

"Yes," she replied easily, her eyes flickering up to him for a moment.

He nodded again and went back to work, trying to chalk out the outlines from the template

"When would you like me to pick up Adrien from school, si– Gabriel?" she asked.

"He's being picked up by his friend today." he told her without looking up

"Oh… What are you working on?" she asked, looking at his design table, covered with fabrics.

"latest designs" he handed her the notebook "a new line I'm thinking of making, but i want to see if the first dress will come out right before i start on any others

Nathalie looked over the sketch. (Can you do a little description of what it looks like?)

"How is it? And don't tell me fine." He looked at her

"It looks beautiful," she replied, her eyes drinking in the details of the design.

"good, now all I have to do is make a whole line." He sat down and immediately started to draw

"Is there anything you want me to do, Gabriel?" she asked, for once not stuttering about his name.

"Ummm, mind grabbing the darker blue fabric from the supply room? and some larger pins." he said over his shoulder, happy that she wanted to engage in designing the line

She nodded and replied certainly, "Of course." She returned quickly with the required materials.

"perfect, want to try?" He offered her the chalk and the template "it's a little advanced but I'm sure you can do it."

(Oh! I just got a really good idea… XD Also, I really lowkey want them to kiss again.)

She stood beside him and examined everything for a moment before beginning to work.

He stepped aside and let her work, smiling faintly

(I can't tell you, but Gabriel isn't gonna like it… again…)

After a while, she stopped and looked at her work, then at Gabriel. "Did I do too much?" she asked worriedly, unsure of what he wanted.

He walked over to her and stood behind her, scanning her work. He smiled and kissed her cheek "it's perfect," he whispered

Nathalie blushed furiously. "Thank you," she replied quietly.

He nodded and circled her work "I think I might have you create the whole line."
