Her stomach flipped. “I love you too,” she whispered.

He smiled and pulled closer "so for how long have you had feeling for me?"

Nathalie inched a little closer as well, partially scolding herself for it in her head. “I don’t know,” she replied quietly. “A little while, I guess. I just never showed it.”

He smiled gently wrapping his arm around her shoulders "me too. are you cold?"

“A little,” she admitted, suddenly feeling very vulnerable. She rubbed her arms quickly.

he took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders, simultaneously pulling her towards his chest "better?"

Nathalie’s heart leapt. “Yes,” she breathed. They were so close…

He glanced down "do you think you'll be able to go tomorrow? considering what happened today. I promise I won't leave your side again" He leaned against her, breathing in her perfume

“Yes, I’ll… I’ll go,” she murmured. Subconsciously, she turned her head slightly so Gabriel had more room. She was breaking down walls for him.

her hair tickled his throat. he kissed the top of her head "thank you, for stopping me from killing that scoundrel"

She gasped softly. “Y-You’re welcome-“ She bit off her ending to keep herself from saying sir.

(Sorry for the delayed response. I had to take a test I forgot about 😣)

he started humming an old French song, idly stroking her arm, creating circles with his fingers

Slowly, she relaxed against him, absorbing his touch into her veins and making it a part of her.

"looks like Andres ivecream really does work" he continued to him, closing his eyes in content

"I told you," she murmured. The sweetness rang in her mouth, making her satisfied.

He smiled and pulled her closer to his chest, "so where to next?"

“Wherever you want to go,” she mumbled.

"Want to go home? Adrien can stay at Ninos house over night." He glanced at her waiting for her decision

“Sure, sir. I mean, Mr. Agreste. I mean, Gabriel,” she stammered, turning red.

He smiled at her " it's fine,"he kissed her hand again and stood, guiding her back to the car. They passed the spot where Andre had been giving out ice cream but saw the lot empty " weird…"

Nathalie smiled. Of course he was gone. André was famous for wandering around Paris to sell his ice cream, never staying in one spot for too long.

They drove to the house. once inside he called Adrien, telling him he could stay the night and that he would pick him up in the morning. He grabbed some food from the kitchen and sat on the couch, loosening his buttoned up shirt and relaxed for one moment that night.

Nathalie default headed to her desk. She sat down and picked up her pen before realizing she had nothing to do.

He walked over to her and offered her food "stuck?" he looked down at her empty notebook

"Yes," she admitted, accepting a small piece. She placed her pen back down. (We're being so vague! XD)
