I can.

Romeo pulled his suitcase into his apartment. He had just moved to the city, and he was exhausted. He had moved all of his furniture into the room last night, and he needed to sleep.

Juliet sang along to the loud music playing from her iPod, hooked up to the speaker on her wall as she danced around the room, cleaning. Mrs. Gainsey down the hall had been talking about the new guy moving into the building, but she didn't care too much. He'd have to get used to her music anyway. The rest of the building had, especially after the meeting.

Romeo heard the music blaring, and rolled his eyes. There was someone like that in every building. He moved over to his bed and plopped down onto it. He was exhausted. Moving was tiring.

Juliet let out a string of curses as she dropped a potted plant. Great, just great. Now she had dirt to clean up, after she found a spare pot to save the plant. Grumbling, she slipped out onto the small balcony outside the sliding glass door, searching through the stacked pots she had in the corner.

Romeo awoke to cursing. he glanced out the window and saw a woman. He caught his breath. She was… beautiful.

Huffing, Juliet set a small pot on her head to keep her hands free, unaware that anyone was watching her. If she'd known, she definitely wouldn't have, but she was a bit too preoccupied.

Romeo laughed slightly. She must not have noticed him. With a small grin, he moved back into his room. There would be time for introducing later.

Juliet sang along to the music, her voice drifting through the open door to her balcony as she re potted the plant, salvaging as much dirt as possible.

Keeping his window open, Romeo listened. She had a beautiful voice. He wished he knew her name, but there would be time for that later.

Juliet glanced at the clock as she finished up with the vacuum. Seven thirty. She had enough time to go cause trouble before her dinner date with Gabe.

With a groan, Romeo pulled himself off his bed. He had finally unpacked, and was exhausted, but hungry, too. He decided to go out to eat, because he had no food right then, and was frankly too lazy to cook.

((Oh! We never went over powers, huh?))

@PrettyLittlePyro

(You’re right! I totally forgot!)

((Any ideas for Romeo? I've got a few for Juliet…))

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Not really. Let’s hear yours first.)

((They're ideas for me to pick from, but uh, solar energy manipulation is one(think Sunspot from the X-men), sound manipulation(I've got a character who's alias is Siren, 'cause that sorta explains her abilities), and the other idea is basically like Dazzler's abilities))

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Awesome! I think you should do the sound one, personally.)

((Siren it is! Here's the details: "Siren Song. She can manipulate her voice to convince people of things. She figured out how to make her voice sound like that of other people, and loves using it to mess around. If she uses her voice too much while activating her power, it wears it down until she loses it, and if she isn't careful it can cause permanent damage." How 'bout Romeo?))

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Man. I was just thinking of energy manipulation for him…)

((That works, unless you want to change it?))

@PrettyLittlePyro

(I’ll just do that…)

Juliet grabbed her bag on her way out the door, checking to make sure all of her necessary items were there as she locked her apartment door. The music continued to play, though a bit softer now, as a way to make people think she was still home.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Romeo walked out of his apartment just as she did, and almost ran into her.

Juliet blinked, closing the bag casually but quickly as she leaned against the door to her apartment. "You the new guy?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

He rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah, I am. Sorry about that. I was kind of… distracted.”

"It's nothin', don't worry." She waved him off casually, the light glinting off her watch. "I've got the same damn problems half the time. Where ya headed?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Out to eat,” he said, rubbing he back of his neck. “Know any good food places around here?”

"Oh, hells yeah." She nodded, shoving her hands in the pockets of her shorts. "Depends on what you like. There's a great Italian place two blocks North, and there's this Mexican place just a block to the West, with the best tamales I've ever had."

@PrettyLittlePyro

He grinned slightly. “Cool, thanks!” He grinned at her. “I’ll, uh, see you later!”

She gave him a two fingered salute, watching him head for the elevator. Once the doors had closed, she headed for the stairs, managing to make it to the ground floor before he did, and slipped out onto the street, blending easily with the pedestrians. Now, what to do, what to do…
