Alex blinked a couple times at the crazy name. “The who-what-burger?”
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
"In-N-Out Burger. Oh, man, have you never been there?" Autumn asked disbelievingly. "We have to go."
Alex raised an eyebrow. “No, I haven’t gone. Sounds fun.”
"It's so good, oh my goodness," Autumn declared.
(When you're writing from second-hand knowledge. Lol.)
(xD)
Alex laughed. “So I’ve heard. What makes it so good?”
(Ugh, I've never actually been there, I've just heard plenty about it.)
"It's… hard to explain. You'll just have to see fir yourself," Autumn declared with a grin.
(I’ve never seen it)
Alex nodded. “Sounds quirky. And cheap.” He giggled. “Not that I’m doubting your food choice.”
(It's apparently really good. They don't have an in my state, but I know people who've gone all over and eaten at them. I guess the "double-double animal-style" is really good?)
"Sure, yeah," Autumn laughed. "Trust me, you won't regret it."
(Bruh what? I don’t have anything of the sort here.)
Alex laughed. “I’m sure I won’t. It sounds great.”
(Lol. They're only in a few states. Like California and Arizona, I think.)
"Cool. Oh, we're here!" Autumn declared as they pulled up to a rather fancy-looking apartment complex.
(Huh. Never heard of it xD)
Alex waited for Autumn to pay then got out of the car. “Huh. Fancy.”
Autumn pulled some bills out of her wallet and handed them to the driver before getting out.
"The apartment? Yeah, I guess…" she trailed off as she looked at it.
“Definitely fancier than what I’ve seen. Shall we go inside?”
"Yes, let's. I'll just let them know I'm here and that they can take my bags up, and then we can walk over to the hotel," Autumn said as she started toward the clear, glass doors.
Alex blinked and followed her. “They take your bags up for you?”
(Cats are the best creatures, my goodness…)
"Yeah. If you live here, a bellboy comes to get them and brings them to your room for you. A lot of the people who live here are really busy," Autumn explained.
(Oooooo i love cats)
Alex hummed, impressed. “Huh, sounds… different.”
(Wow, really? I never would've guessed if I hadn't read your username a million times over. Lol.)
Autumn nodded. "It is, yeah. But at least this way I don't have to worry about crazy parties from my neighbors."
(Oh right xD)
Alex gave a slight nod. He could admit that made sense. “So, where is the bellhop?”
"I have to check in first," Autumn laughed as she walked up to the desk. She showed them her ID and they called a bellhop for her as soon as she was checked in, and he came to take her bags.
Alex watched this with an eyebrow raised. “Well, alrighty then. Ready to go?” He looked back at Autumn.
"Yup. Let's go," Autumm said, starting out the door.
Alex tailed her out the door, humming. “Where’s the hotel? Really right there?”
"Yeah, it's just right next door," Autumn said as she stopped in front of a pair of clear, glass door leading into the building.
Alex looked over her head at the doors. “Alright, let’s go, then.”
Autumn stepped inside and waited for Alex. She hadn't really ever been inside the hotel, but it looked as nice as she was expecting it to. The lobby was clean and white, with a wooden front desk.
Alex walked inside too, inhaling the fancy atmosphere happily. “Are there any attendants?”
"What do you mean by 'attendants'?" Autumn asked as she made her way to the front desk.
“Attendants? People who attend the desk?” Alex looked at her, bamboozled.
"Yeah, of course there are. I was just confused because I thought you meant, like, servents or something," Autumn explained, ringing the bell for service.
