Alex frowned a little. “I would take up that offer if I knew the person who runs the hotel, you know? They give me discounts for the penthouse.”
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
Autumn shrugged. "I suppose that makes sense. But who says you don't know them? Or that I couldn't get you a discount even if you didn't?"
Alex shrugged. “Eh, I could check if I wanted to.”
"Are you saying you don't want to?" Autumn asked with half a smile.
“Of course I do!” Alex hastily exclaimed.
"Then come on, let's get a taxi and head over," Autumn said with a nod in the direction of the road.
Alex nodded slowly. “Thing is, I don’t think I have cash on me…”
"How about a credit card? Or debit? I'm pretty sure they take both," Autumn shrugged as she spoke.
Alex sighed gently. “I’m sure they do, but I’ve ridden with some pretty shady drivers…”
"Well, that's okay, I guess. I think I have cash on me," Autumn said as she searched her wallet.
Alex grinned at her thankfully. “I’ll pay you back the moment I get cash.”
Autumn waved him off. "It's no problem. It's the least I can do for you paying for my food the other day."
“Nonono,” He shook his head. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll pay you back.”
"Seriously, why do you insist on paying?" Autumn asked with a laugh. "It's okay, really."
Alex huffed himself up. “I insist because that’s what gentlemen do!”
"Yes, but if I say it's okay, then it's okay," Autumn chuckled.
“It’s not okay to me, Autumn.” Alex beamed at her
"Ugh, fine. You can pay me back then," Autumn groaned, rolling her eyes.
“I’ve never heard anyone groan about being paid back.” Alex laughed.
"Well, you clearly haven't met me," Autumn said with a slight laugh, nudging him.
Alex laughed too. “I think I’ve met you enough to know you’re very stubborn.”
"You've got that right," Autumn said with a grin.
Alex hailed a taxi coming up the street and opened the door for Autumn. “Here we go!”
Autumn thanked him before getting in. She told the driver the address of her apartment, and he nodded in affirmation.
Alex sat down next to her, shoving his bags between his legs and shutting the door. “Alright…” He looked at Autumn. “Where are we going?”
"My apartment. There's a hotel next to it, so I'll drop my stuff off and have them send it to my room, then we can go see about getting you a suite," Autumn said as they drove away.
(*suite. I don’t mean to correct you but i do at the same time.)
Alex nodded and leaned back into his seat. “Cool beans! Did you wanna go out to eat tomorrow?” He looked at her, not realizing how ‘go-on-a-date-with-me’ that sounded.
(Frick, I knew that, too…)
"Um…" Autumn trailed off as she thought through her schedule. "Yeah, I think I'm able to do that."
(Meh tis oki! We human we make mistakes)
Alex beamed. “Great! Where would you like to eat?”
(Lol. Okay.)
Autumn shrugged. "Anywhere is fine with me… Oh, wait! Have you ever been to In-N-Our Burger?"
