Alex trotted over, smoothing his hair back. “Yep! Ready when you are!”
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
"Great," Autumn said as she hailed a taxi. "There are a few places we can go, but I'll save the most expensive for last."
Alex glanced at her. “What do you mean by that, Autumn?”
"What do you mean, what do I mean?" Autumn asked, turning to look at him in confusion.
Alex mirrored her expression. “What do you mean by ‘save the most expensive for last’?”
"Oh, just that there's a really fancy, expensive place where you can get really good suits and get them tailored to fit in less than a day," Autumn explained with a shrug as a taxi pulled up.
Alex opened the door for her. “Then we should just go there. I can afford it.”
"I mean… It's pretty big, and you might get lost if you try to get around on your own. Plus, I should call ahead and make sure they can squeeze you in," Autumn said as she slid inside.
Alex plopped down and closed the door. “Sounds good. If the other stores don’t work out for us, we’ll have that one to fall back on.”
(1000th post! Woot-woot!)
"Great. I'll call them now, then, just in case," Autumn said with a smile as she pulled her phone out of her purse.
(Woooooo!)
Alex smiled back. “Thanks for helping me out!”
Autumn nodded and mouthed "No problem" as she dialed the shop's number. She waited as the phone rang.
Alex told the driver a location of a tailoring store he knew to get them started on their way.
(Heyyyyy… You wanna do the store guy/girl? XP)
(Ooof ya sure)
The phone picked up a few moments later. “Hello, thank you for calling Seyliwn and Co. how may I assist you?”
"Hi! I was just wondering if you had room for an appointment later today? In about two hours maybe?" Autumn asked.
“Hmm, yeah, let me check and see.” A rustling of papers. “We have one spot open at three-thirty if that’s good.”
"Perfect! Thank you so much!" Autumn exclaimed.
“Yep! Could I get a name for the reservation, please?”
"Langton," Autumn said, using Alex's last name since it was for him.
A pause as she wrote the name. “Alright! Thank you, see you at three.”
"Yes, thank you again," Autumn said as she hung up. "Well that went well!"
Alex grinned at Autumn. “Did it? What time are they expecting us?”
"Three-thirty, but we should probably get there about a half hour early," Autumn answered.
Alex nodded. “Alright, sweet! Thanks!”
"Of course! It was my pleasure," Autumn said with a grin.
He nodded. “For now, I’ve already set us on a course to a little tailor shop for my tie.”
"Good idea. The right tie can make or break a first impression," Autumn said, nodding approval.
Alex grinned a little; he was finally doing something right. “Thanks. I try.”
