Lucas closed the door quietly behind him and settled himself in Callie's lap again, seeming content. They kept each other warm even in the cold room, so both were able to be quite comfortable.
My Heart Is Like The Ocean Searching // O/O // Closed
Callie wrapped his arms around Lucas again, his mechanical arms surprisingly warm despite the cold environment.
Lucas nestled his head into the crook of Callie's neck, his breathing relaxed and even. They fit quite nicely together, and Lucas really liked being held like this.
Every now and then Callie couldn't stop thinking about Lucas - how he was holding him, how he felt in his arms.
After a minute or two, Lucas pulled away so they were face to face. He smiled genuinely, his dimples showing on his pale cheeks. They were quite close to each other by now.
Callie blushed a little at how close they were, smiling back at him even though he wasn't quite sure what Lucas was smiling at. Him? Maybe. Probably not. Either way, simply seeing him smile made Callie do the same.
Thank you. Lucas held up one hand, his expression softening. He kissed Callie's cheek to thank him and hugged him again.
Callie's blush deepened as he froze for a couple of moments, hugging him back after he regained the ability to move. The prince. The perfect prince. The adorable prince. Had just. Kissed him. Not on the lips, but still. Kissed him. Lucas liked Callie. Well, Callie liked Lucas a lot too, so he guessed it evened out. But still.
Are you okay? Lucas signed after a bit. Did I do something to upset you? He seemed a bit nervous, his own cheeks lightly flushed as well. It was far more noticeable on him, though, since he was pale though that any amount of blushing was visible.
Callie shook his head, smiling a little. Of course not. You kissed me. That's a good thing.
Lucas hesitated. Was I too bold? He was more flustered than anything now, but he never tried to move away from Callie.
Callie shook his head again, the smile not leaving his face. No. It was perfect. Because it had been - of course it had. Everything about Lucas was perfect.
Lucas locked his gaze with Callie's, his baby blue eyes catching the soft light of the room for a moment. They were rather large in proportion to his face, making him look gentler and younger. (cough twink cough) His blush gradually started growing a bit deeper.
((lmao I was thinkin that))
Callie's blush did the same, becoming more visible against his tan skin as the seconds passed. He wanted to kiss Lucas right then, he really did. He was justâĤCallie didn't even know. Perfect. Adorable. All of that. So his impulsive brain did exactly what it said it would do: He quickly kissed Lucas, on the lips this time, his blush a bright red.
Lucas froze up, surprised. Then, his blush steadily darkened until he was a deep red. He touched his lips gently with one hand and exhaled shakily. Oh my god. He just kissed me. Holy shit. And I liked it. Ohhhh godâĤ
Are you okay? Callie signed, a small bit of anxiety nagging at him. He had totally done it wrong, he had been wrong about the entire thing, oh god-
Lucas nodded, his heart pounding hard in his chest. He was sure Callie could feel it just from how close they were. He hesitated for several seconds before gently kissing Callie again, seeming very shy about it.
Oh, thank god, Callie thought to himself, a little surprised but not at all unhappy as Lucas kissed him again. So he kissed him back, reassuring him gently.
Lucas let one of his hands slide up to carefully toy with Callie's hair, his eyes shut by now. He hadn't kissed anyone before, but he'd seen plenty of other people do it, and Callie had thankfully taken the lead anyways.
Callie had been kissed once before, but it didn't count, considering that he hadn't even liked the person who had done it. So you could say this was his first real kiss - he practically melted at the touch, as it had been so long since anyone had done anything like it.
Pretty soon, Lucas had to pull away for air. He opened his eyes, still very flushed, and he couldn't take his eyes off of Callie. He was putty in the other's hands by now.
((do u know what the sign is for i love you it's really simple look it up))
Callie smiled softly, leaning his forehead against Lucas' softly. Was he in love? Absolutely. Jesus christ, he had no idea what was going on today.
(I do, yeah)
Lucas smiled as well, closing his eyes again. His blush lingered, although it was gentler now. Now it was honestly just cute and he didn't look like he might actually overheat or something.
Damn, he's adorable, Callie thought quietly to himself, studying Lucas' face, his eyes darting around it as he took in every little detail.
Lucas's fingers brushed gently over Callie's cheek. It was time like this that he was incredibly glad he had private rooms he could go to without worrying about being caught. Right now was the first time he realized for absolute certain that he was gay, and he was incredibly anxious about it. He couldn't tell his parents of course; they'd flay him. He was their only child, and therefore expected to carry on the family name, but he just couldn'tâĤ
Callie was bisexual, and had known it since some of his last days in Australia. No one really cared, so he didn't think it was a big deal. But he noticed a small bit of unrest, uncertainty in Lucas' eyes - losing one sense amplified all his others. Is everything okay? He signed carefully.
Lucas looked away. My parents will be furious if they find out. He signed nervously. They don't know. I didn't know for sure until now.
Callie nodded in understanding, thinking of a response before signing it. You don't have to tell them. Pass it off as clingyness.
He nodded a bit. Aren't they bound to find out at some point, though? I'm not a very good liar.
Why would they ask? Callie signed to him, trying his best to calm Lucas' nerves. Even if they do, I'm pretty good at lying.
