"Wha-i…..thank you…."
Levi says to the man, stuttering all over the place as his face quickly turned red. He sure WISHED! But he knew it wouldn't be able to happen. Not in a million years.
"Uh….may i have just a vanilla double scoop in a waffle cone…please?"
He says looking at the menu with all of the flavors and types of cones and toppings on the board. Then back at Rye.

"Thank you." Rye said with her usual smile. It didn't real phase her anymore, people mistook them for a couple all the time. "I'll have a single scoop, strawberry in a waffle cone please." The man nodded and began scooping them their ice cream. "That will be 5.78 please." Rye took her icecream and started digging through her purse for money. It was just allowance since she didn't have a job. But this summer she wanted to get one when school is out.

"Okay well, here's this. Keep the change"
He says with a smile as he quickly hands the man a ten, the man going to make the ice cream. He had more than enough money to spend. Which no, he wasn't rich or a greedy guy. But he already had a more than good-paying job, well more than one. So what was he going to do with all of the money he earned? Spend it on his favorite person in the whole wide world of course.
And To him, that was the most necessary thing to do with it.
"I was going to get it as a Thank you for the necklace." Rye knew she was sort of poor, and Levi spoiled her too much, but honestly she liked it. "You know, you shouldn't spoil me to much, I'll become dependent on you." She nudged him with her elbow gently and smiled as a thank you. "Want to sit near the fountain and wait?" Sitting near the fountain was her favorite, it was just so relaxing. Quite a bit of people were out today and Rye felt bad since Levi didn't like people much.

People did make him extremely anxious about whether he decided to show it or not. But he would always such it up and deal with it around Rye.
"So what if i spoil you too much. Though….okay you have a point. But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop"
Levi says with a little smile as he sat on the bench in front of the fountain.
He absolutely loved spoiling her. Her being happy simply made him really happy. Sparks of joy and love with set his heart aflame every time she simply smiled.
"You're too kind." She laid her head on his shoulder. He was the most kind. Rye never understood why people didn't like him much, or at least the guys. The girls liked him and always have. He was popular, and hanging out with a none popular girl, the other girls didn't like that. But she was bullied way before she met him, so Rye didn't mind. Nothing was going to stop her from being his friend. "Did you know you're the best?"

And right when the heat started leaving his face it came back in a heartbeat as she laid her head on his shoulder and said that.
"That was incredibly unnecessary but….. N-no…."
He says rather shyly as he purposely slouches a little so she could rest her head on his shoulder easier. He always had incredibly good posture but slouching a bit wasn't going to hurt….right? (Lol he's so dramatic )
He never thought of himself as the best. Not even close to it. Maybe even the worst with all of his "problems". He wanted to deny it so badly, but no words we're coming out. It shook him just to hear that. Let alone for the girl he was madly in love with to be telling him that!
(God he's so cute I can't handle it!! I'll have to answer tomorrow since I'll be going to sleep.)

"I'm glad it's just us for a while." Even though Rye was excited to see Lance and excited for Levi to meet him. Rye also hoped they would become. "Want to try my ice cream." She held it up for him. If he didn't want it was fine as well. (Sorry it's short.)

He never shared food, and he had a feeling she knew that. Nor did he like mint chocolate chip. He rarely got icecream in the first place.
"Np thank you"
He says as he looks over his own ice cream, making sure there were no bugs in it.
"So who's this new guy like? Lance was his name correct?"
He asks him, turning to face her a bit.

"Yep, that's me!" Elsie replied, leaning against the wall. "Nice to meet you too. I was sure I've seen you before but I couldn't figure out your name. So, where were you in such a rush to get to?"
"I'm going to the park to meet with my friend, Rye and meet her friend, Levi." Lance responded with a smile.
Rye frown a little hoping today would be the day she could share food with Levi. With a sigh she took a bite. "He's really nice. Helps me with my school work, since I tend to space out. He's handsome as all, almost as popular as you. But over all you're still more popular." Rye was sure of how else to describe him. Levi would just have to find out for him. "I hope you'll like him."

"Hm, I do to," He says looking up to the sky, closing his eyes. His freckles all over his face showing golden and brown specks as the sun shined directly on the two friends. He hoped this "Lance" guy was a good one. He didn't want anyone that wasn't going to treat her like the frikin Queen herself to be even as much as her acquaintance. Though he had a feeling he wasn't going to like him. That's just who he was. Though there's a first time for everything.

"Oh," she paused, feeling awkward suddenly. "Okay. That's fun."
Rye and Levi? They invited him to the park? Well, Rye was probably the one to do that, but still. Interesting.
Hannah came out at that moment, apologizing profusely. She didn't seem to notice Lance at all. "I'm so sorry; I need to go babysit apparently–"
"It's fine," Elsie responded to her immediately, ignoring her disappointment. "You can go. I'll see you later." With that, Hannah rushed off.
(I think they might have exchanged numbers, considering they are going to be partners for the project)
Lance lightly laughed at Elsie’s friend, “I should probably be going myself, see ya around,” he said, waving and sprinting off, heading towards the park. He arrived shortly and noticed Rye and Levi, “Hey Rye!”
"Bye," Elsie waved, watching him leave. Sighing, she headed off without a particular destination in mind. Now that Hannah was gone, she didn't have any plans for the day. Putting her hands in her pockets, she pondered her options.

A few momutes ago Levi had texted Elsie's number, asking her if she wanted to come to the park with him and some other friends. The connection wasn't the best so it hadn't sent until just now.
Every fiber of his being almost jumped out of his skin when he heard Lance's voice shouting to Rye. He straightened up immediately, and now that his ice cream was finished there was a neatly folded napkin in his hand.
"Uhm….Rye, I'm gonna go throw this away real quick"
He says to her standing up trying to ignore Lance.
At the sound of Lance's voice, Rye sat up and turned around. Smiling she waved. "Hey." She walked over and grabbed his hand leading him over to the bench. "Do you want some icecream?" She asked while waiting for Levi to come back. Rye had a hopeful smile. She really hoped that they would get along. Lance, was really handsome, and everytime she saw him she thought that.
(I might not be on till later tonight.)
Lance smiled and nodded, “Sure, that’d be great,” He glanced over to where Levi was, So that’s Levi… He thought, Hmm, he seems extremely proper with the way he dresses, I bet he’s nice though.

Elsie glanced at her phone as a text came in. From… Levi? Asking if she wanted to go to the park. From what Lance said earlier, she guessed he and Rye were the other friends. Well, she didn't have anything to do today, so it would give her something to do. On the other hand, she didn't know them all that well and it would probably be awkward. Although Levi did go and invite her; it would be rude to decline and then what if it makes her get on his bad side? She didn't want that to happen at all, especially considering they were now partners in the project. Sure. I'll be there in a moment, she replied back to Levi, then went over to the park.

He froze at the trash can for a few seconds as his phone let out a ding. He replied simply "okay" before he began to walk back. Maybe he could buy Lance ice cream or something. Have a fresh start maybe? Meeting people was never something he enjoyed. But he was going to suck it up and not complain. For there was nothing complaining could change.
"You want anything? I'll pay. There's the ice cream shop over there"
He says motioning towards the shop as he walked over to the two. He might as well be nice. Being mean wasn't necessary.
"Ah, Levi, you don't have to do that. I mean you already bought mine." Rye felt bad, she knew that Levi have more money, but she didn't want to feel useless. Or maybe she wanted to be accepted. Rye played with her necklace. She never wanted Levi to feel like she was using him.

“I have a bit of cash so I can pay myself, but thanks for the offer,” Lance replied, “Anyway it’s nice to meet you Levi.”

He thought to himself as his fingers ran along the beads of the bracelet. He was curious as to how this was going to play out….and where was Elsie?

Elsie arrived at the park, walking over to where the three were. "Hi," she smiled hesitantly.
