"You look nice. What's your dog's name?" He smiled gently. Kindness showing in his eyes.
O/O Anybody? (Closed)

She raised an eyebrow and sat on the metal railing and looked at him, then back at her Doberman. "Its just my lazy day clothes but okay" she shrugs "it's Nico by the way. He such a good boy" she says leaning forward and kissing the dogs forehead.
"Meh, the comfiest clothes are the best looking." He smiled leaning against the railing. "That's a cool name, is there a reason you named him that?"
group
"Well i have a lot more better looking clothes than this" she says with a laugh. "My brother. He named him. I dont know why. But I'm not about to change it. Nico liked him a lot"
He nodded his head. "Well that's cool." He said taking a sip of his tea.
group
"Yeah, I guess. Nico's like the only thing to remember him by. So he's pretty special" she says patting him on the head, then looking over to Brett with a smile as she tucked a braid behind her ear.
Brett blinked. "He's, um, not with us anymore?" He asked awkwardly.
group
"Nah he's as dead as that turtle I accidentally ran over yesterday. Don't worry I buried it" she says waving it off. "Anyway, so why're you out here? Or are you just enjoying the air? I know that, that coffee shop can get a little stuffy every now and then"
"I just got warm in my apartment." He said half forcing his smile to come. "I also needed a distraction." He said turning his head facing the darkening sky.
group
"Ooh, okay" her eyes followed his gaze towards the sky. She hoped it would rain tonight, but the chances we're low.
Brett just ran random memories through his brain. 'How can a girl who was so mean all of a sudden change, and just kinda fall for me?' He thought to himself. He bit his lip again, and it began bleeding almost Immediately. He let out a little whimper and put his thumb on his lower lip.
group
She heard his little whimper and tried her best to hold in a laugh. "What'd you do, bite your tongue?" She joked. She honestly didn't think much of him. He was just the cute looking guy that worked at a coffee shop that also happens to live in the apartment next to her. Nothing much honestly.
He squinched his face (Yes that's totally a word.) and realized he had made a noise to catch her attention. "I bit my lip, and it started bleeding…again." He whispered the last part.
group
"Oh, do you have a band-aid or anything? I have bandaids for lips and fingers and such. Small things like that, that a normal band-aid wouldn't get" she shrugged. "Here lemme get you one. Stop biting your lip dude" she rolled her eyes as she walked into her apartment in search of a band-aid.
"Wait no- and she's gone." He sighed rubbing his forehead. He just couldn't help it, he was doing it right now for gosh' sake!
group
She came back with a little box. She set it down on the little glass table beside her and got out a small band-aid. "Here." She says with the band-aid in her hand. She was debating whether she should just give it to him to put it on or help him.
He took it half smiling, and un-packaged. He peeled the plastic off, and put it on his lip. "I don't know much about you." He lied. "Where'd you go to school?" He asked slyily.
group
"Uh, hemmington. (Idk if that's what i said earlier, but im too lazy to go back and check) " why?" She asks him leaning on the railing
He gave a confident smile. "Oh, just curious. Hemmington huh? Funny thing, I went there." He said trying not to make it too obvious.
group
"Really!? Wow, that's crazy!" She says with a laugh. She met this dude at a coffee shop and she helped him with his car. No big deal. But then he lives in the same apartment complex ad her…AND he went to the same school!? This was too weird.
He knew she hadn't picked up what he put down. "Yeah, those were some bad years for me. I was bullied throughout all my years there." He said tracing his fingers over his temple.
group
"Agh really!? Man that sucks. My year's there are really hazy. A ton of things we're going on for me at the time. Really hectic to be honest. That's when my brother was…" She trailed off. "Anyway, sorry about that."
"It's not like… it was… your… fault." He hesitated to say.
group
"Well I'm still sorry that happened to you." She says running her fingers through her braids. She needed to redo them.
Brett said nothing. He wished he could just ask her, but it seemed rude. Why couldn't he just let this go?
group
"So, you goin to college or something here or what?" She turned to him.
"I wanted to. But I don't have the money and my parents wouldn't fund me." He sighed ruffling his hair. "What about you?"
group
"Yeah college" she says with the rockin roll sign on her hand. "Anyway how much more do you need?"
"Over 10,000." He groaned. "And with the stupid rent of this place, I'll never make it."
group
"Dude…yikes," she says pursing her lips into a line. Though not exactly a line considering how big they are. She also hated that.
"I might be able to help a little bit…"
