There is the Princesses maid, always cleaning for her and fetching the things she requires. The visiting Prince just so happens to stumble into her. Eventually he falls for the maid. The maid knows it is not right, he should be falling for the Princess, after all the Princess is richer and more beautiful. He denys her words and says he is falling for her, not the Princess. Soon the maid see’s herself falling for the Prince.

About(siblings, parents, why they’re visiting etc.): Visiting because he is a suitor for the princess, the king of his kingdom wished to unite the two kingdoms by marriage.

Appearance: Dark brown straight hair that goes down to her waist(usually in a high braid), Hazel eyes(more green than brown), Pale skin, 5’ 10”
Apparel: Usual maid outfit(Knee length black tea dress, folded white apron tied to her waist, black kitten heels), if there is a formal event(balls, banquets etc.) and she is required to be present she will not wear the apron and may wear a simple silver necklace(with occcasionally a charm of a sort)
Accent?: Strong British
Backstory: Her father had worked for the Princesses family for most of his life and had met a lady(her mother) while out fetching something’s. They kept meeting together and then came Evelyn. She soon took on the responsibility of caring for the Princess.
About: She had a younger sister(Scarlet) but her whereabouts became unknown around 4 and a half years previously, then her death had been announced(2 years after her disappearance). Her father(Leonard)she saw sometimes, she has never met her mother or knows her name.
Other: She’s always excited to meet the new suitors for the Princess since most of the time Kieara(the Princess) sends her out on ‘missions’ to learn more about them so she can help her choose a suitor(It is easy to listen in on others conversations since she is mainly ignored and is just about allowed anywhere since she is a maid)

“Eve!” Kieara called. Evelyn curtsied, “Yes, Your Highness,” The princess waved her hand dismissively. “No need for formalities,” Ev nodded. “I need you to keep a close eye on the new suitor, Christopher Kales. The usual, and the paintings need dusting in the front hall,”
“As you wish, Kieara,”

Chris walked into the castle. He had been sent alone, his father the king of the kingdom he was from sent him alone as a suitor. The whole thing sounded boring. He walked into the Castle an looked around the front hall.

Evelyn was finished with the third painting on the right wall when someone came in. That must be Christopher. She stopped dusting and walked over to him. She curtsied, “Evelyn, the princesses maid. How May I be of service?” She introduced. ‘Keep a close eye on the new suitor . . .’

"Oh hello, i'm chr- Prince Christopher. and where could I find the king. I was told to find him upon arrival." He said politely to her and looked around the room.

“He is in his study currently. Would you like me to guide you there?” She asked. Quote polite when meeting new people. She noted, she would need to remember this to tell Kieara later.

"Could you please?" He asked her, smiling a bit at her.

“Of course, Your Highness,” She turned around. “Just follow me,” She started walking to the other side of the front hall to then, take a left.

He Followed behind her quietly looking around the rooms as they walked through. "Amazing architecture of this castle."

What did you expect? She thought to herself, stifling a laugh. She made the left turn and started to walk up a set of spiralling stairs.

"How are you." he asked out of nowhere. He was bored and had nobody to talk to for the 6 hour trip there. He thought in his head.

“I-I’m fine, thank you,” She was a bit taken aback by the question and the suddenness of it. The staircase ended on the second floor and she swiveled on her heel towards the right corridor.

He smiled then kept following her, not completely aware of where he was currently in the castle.

“Just a bit farther,” She said. She opened a door at the end of the corridor revealing the front room of the kings quarters. She held it open for the Prince.

He nodded and smiled then walked in to talk to the king.

“It’s the door just to the left, by the bookcase,” Evelyn said and quietly closed the door. She walked back near the entrance of the corridor and knocked on the door. “Ev! Is that you? Come in,”

Christopher sat down and talked to the king for a while. the king was nice but it was an immensely boring talk, it felt more like a test to see what he is like.

“So . . . What was he like?” The Princess had her head rested in her hands, eyes wide, ready to hear everything. “He was very polite and had quite the charming smile, he wasn’t awkward or sour and he quite likes the architecture of the castle,” The Princess was practically beaming.

After what had felt like an hour maybe because it was he left the king's room and walked down the hall assisted by someone, he had no idea of their position they just told him to follow. Soon though he was brought to a room and was told it was where he would be staying.

“You think I should go and meet him right now? Or should I wait?” The princess asked. “It is your choice Kieara,” The princess threw her hands in the air. “I think is should meet him now, you know where he’s staying. Help me change, quickly,”

He walked out of his room as soon as he walked in and decided to go exploring, even though he didn't know if he was allowed to.
