“It’s…I don’t like it,” Bridge told him, trying to squirm away.
Oh, It's You Again // O/O // Closed
"You sure do like it when Scorpion does it."
“You’re…you’re not Scipio,” Bridge protested softly.
"No, I'm not. That doesn't change the action itself though." Luka sighed and reluctantly released Bridge. "You can return to your cell for now. I figure you'll want to check on him."
Bridge backed away quickly, making his way out of the room and back down the hall towards Scipio, where he would be safe.
Scipio was tied up and unconscious, noticeably still shaking from being shocked twice in the neck. The guards were gone by now.
Bridge shut the door behind him, running up to Scipio and sitting cross-legged next to him, running a hand through his hair. “Scipio?”
Scipio didn't respond. There were two new painful marks from the tazers on his neck, and the electricity was still affecting his muscles.
Bridge scooted a little closer to him, putting another gentle hand to his face, waiting for him to wake again. He hated Luka. So much.
After about ten minutes, Scipio finally came to. His vision was very blurry and his breathing was uneven, but at least he was conscious.
"Scipio?" Bridge asked softly, running a thumb along his cheek carefully.
"Mmm…?" Scipio leaned weakly into Bridge's hand, feeling disoriented and in a lot of pain.
"I'm sorry…" He murmured, running his other hand gently through Scipio's hair.
Scipio leaned against Bridge, too weak to do much of anything right now. He'd been tazed before, of course, but never twice in the neck. It was too much. His hands and feet were still bound and he couldn't get free in this state.
Bridge set his head down gently in his lap, going to untie the knots. They were tough, but he got through them eventually, tossing the bindings aside.
Scipio drew in a wavering breath, his eyes closed again. He was still conscious, but exhausted. "T-Thanks…" The words felt strange in his mouth, as he'd never thanked anyone before.
Bridge smiled a little bit, returning his hands to Scipio's face and hair. "It's…it's okay."
Scipio leaned his head against Bridge's chest. He hated feeling weak like this, but he knew he needed Bridge's help right now. He likely wouldn't stay very calm, otherwise.
"I'm sorry…" He murmured again, holding Scipio as close as he could without falling over.
"It's not your fault…" Scipio murmured, still shaking a bit from the electricity. "They took you to Luka, didn't they?"
Bridge nodded slowly, looking down at the memory. He hated Luka, and he couldn't shake the feeling of his mouth on Bridge's neck.
"What's this…?" Scipio gently rubbed his thumb against the bite mark on Bridge's neck.
"He…Luka did it," Bridge muttered quietly, lowering his eyes. He hated Luka, so much.
"I'm gonna kill him! I knew he had bad intentions!" Scipio quickly stood up, but collapsed back to the ground. He still couldn't walk in this condition, much as he wanted to.
"I'm sorry…" He mumbled in a small voice, lifting Scipio's shoulders back into a sitting position again and running a hand through his hair. "I…I couldn't stop him."
"I'll… I'll kill him when I can fucking walk…" Scipio watched the door. "This is why I didn't want them to take you away…"
"I know. I'm…I'm sorry," Bridge said softly, running a thumb along his cheek.
"Stop having the sorry… Luka will have it when I'm done with him. I know he got the briefing. He knows not to mess with me."
"Oh. Okay." Bridge nodded a little, resting his chin on Scipio's shoulder.
Scipio pulled Bridge into his lap again, even more protective after what had just happened. He wouldn't hold back on fighting the next time they tried to take Bridge. It wasn't unlikely that someone wouldn't make it out alive.
