Ricarda sighed, "I'm not sure what I saw after the wedding, not exactly.. but it didn't look like anything bad…."

"Exactly. It didn't look like anything bad. That doesn't mean that it wasn't."

"Raelyn….." Ricarda sighed, "It wasn't bad…. It couldn't have been…"

"You don't know what I saw, Ricarda. Only I do."

"And you don't know what I saw!" Said Ricarda.

"I know I don't know what you saw! I don't know what Camila saw, or Madeline, or Mariana, or Lillie, or Oakley."

"Does it matter?" Asked Ricarda

"Of course it does. Because we don't know what's gonna happen in the future."

"But why do we need to know?" Asked Ricarda, "why not just go through life and wait to find out?"

"Because unlike you, I want to know what's going to happen to me. I want to know what my future holds."

"but why?" asked Ricarda, "Isn't it more fun to just wait and see?"

"Not for me! I know what happened to my mum and I don't want that happening to me!"

"So we wait and see and hope for the best!" said Ricarda, trying to be encouraging.

"But then I don't know what will be in my future!"

"Will you quit being so negative!" said Ricarda, getting annoyed.

"I'm not being negative! I'm simply expressing the fact that I want to know my future!"

"You're being negative by not accepting the fact that it might actually be good !"

"If it's good then I want to know about it!"

"Why?" Asked Ricarda, confused

"Because I want to know what's gonna happen to me!"

"I understand the feeling of wanting to know…" said Ricarda slowly, "But I don't understand why you're acting like you have to….."

"Because everything bad happened to me! And I don't want to end up like her! I don't want to be possessed by anything! I don't want to almost die!"

Ricarda backed away, some of the images of his destiny flashing across his vision. "I don't wanna end up like my mom either…" he said softly.

"At least your mum had her sister. I have no one."
"You have me," Camila said.
"No, I don't. As soon as we go about our own ways, you'll be ruling a kingdom while I'm stuck in a stupid tower."

"Hey… I don't have siblings….." said Ricarda, "and If I'm following my mom's path…."

"Then at least you'll have someone to come and save you."

"but what if I don't!" said Ricarda, "I can't afford to think about the bad things…. Worrying about the future is how my mom started her story, I can't do the same… not when I have no idea what'll happen when I become my own enemy…. Not when I don't know that they're'll be someone to pull me back…."
