V opened the door to allow the three back in, apologising for Nath's out burst and guiding them to the living room.
"There's no need to apologise Valderian. Believe me it's not the first time I've had that happen and it won't be the last." Ariah said with a reasuring smile, glancing over at the bedroom door before focusing back on V. "Can you tell me what's going on with Nathaniel. Urielle and Jarvis told me he's not much of a talker, especially to doctors.
V nodded "they're right." He took a deep breath and explained everything from the beginning, how Nath had seemingly had a cold for what seemed like weeks now, had been throwing up constantly even with help from medications and had barely eaten anything unless it was with Urielle or Jarvis.

@Fraust

Nathaniel listened in to the conversation as well as he could while buried in the covers, curling up into a tight ball. He was still anxious, and felt awful at the same time. His cheeks were flushed with fever, he was shivering violently, his stomach was churning, and he was clammy all over. He was generally just incredibly uncomfortable, and there wasn't much he could do about it.

@Fenrir

Ariah nodded slightly as V explained everything. "I'm glad you called, V." She said with a small smile.
V sighed softly and shrugged "not sure how good it'll do, he's not too happy about this. I get why but I just wanted to help him not make him feel worse."
"He'll be alright." She reassured, watching as Urielle stood and headed over to the bedroom, gently knocking on the door before slipping inside.

@Fraust

Nathaniel looked up warily when Urielle came in, huddling up tighter to hide himself in the blankets. He's probably going to try and force me to go see her… He whined softly in protest and buried himself fully under the covers, wrapping his wings around himself as he trembled. "N-No… please…" He whispered shakily, obviously still afraid.

@Fenrir

Urielle's eyes softened as he settled beside Nathaniel, lightly reasuring his hand ontop of his wings. "I'm not going to bring you to her Nath, just thought you wanted some company." He said softly.

Ariah went over the symptoms again, making sure she understood what was going on. She asked a few more questions about Nathaniel, most generalized sleep patterns and over all health.
She frowned softly when V told her about how Nath had been kicked out of heaven.
"Such a young angel should never go through something like that." She whispered softly, hugging her sides and taking a deep breath. "Can I see him?"
V slowly shook his head "I don't think he'll let you see him."

@Fraust

Nathaniel reluctantly poked his head out from under the covers and huddled up against Urielle, still trembling. "I-I'm sorry…" He whispered weakly. "I'm… I'm being a problem, aren't I?" He hiccuped a bit and wrapped his wings around himself. "I-I just… I don't… I don't wanna see her…"

@Fenrir

"no angel, you're not being a problem. Ariah understands your choice not to see her and she can treat you just as well through description. We'd prefer if she saw you in person just to make sure you're alright but it's alright if you don't want to see her today." He said with a smile, wrapping his own wing around the tiny angel. "would you be okay with talking with her a bit? Or more, she talks to you She doesn't have to come in here, she can just stay at the door."

@Fraust

Nathaniel whimpered softly and clung tighter to Urielle, clearly unsure and uneasy. "I… I-I dunno… maybe…" He whispered, his breathing starting to quicken already at the thought of it. "I-I just… I really don't want her to touch me… I'm not… I'm not comfortable with that right now…"

@Fenrir

"that's absolutely fine. You won't even have to see her. Shell just be on the other side of the door, okay?" Urielle said, standing slowly "I'll be right back okay? Want V to stay in here with you?" He asked before he headed back out to the living room

@Fraust

"O-Okay… and… and yeah…" Nathaniel replied weakly, huddling back up under the covers when Urielle left him. He curled in on himself, trying to keep himself from hyperventilating as tears stung his eyes.

@Fenrir

After a bit, V nudged opened the door and shut it behind him. He silently settled beside Nathaniel, pulling the angel and the ball of blankets towards him and tucking him safely against his chest.

@Fraust

Nathaniel hiccuped a bit and clung tightly to V, still trembling. His breathing was harsh and shallow, and tears were fresh on his cheeks. "I-I'm sorry…" He whispered shakily. "I'm sorry… I'm sorry…"

@Fenrir

"shh, Nath, please don't be sorry." He murmured softly, gently brushing away his tears. "I'm the one who should be apologiesing for making you go though this." He pressed a kiss to his brow and gently nuzzled his cheek.
Ariah slowly made her way to the door and sat on the ground back against the wall next to the bedroom door

@Fraust

Nathaniel buried his face in V's chest, shaking violently. "I-I don't… I don't want her to touch me…" He whispered. "P-Please…" He wrapped his wings tightly around himself, obviously terrified. "Please, V… I-I'm sorry…"

@Fenrir

"my love, she's not going to touch you okay, she's just going to ask questions so she can have a better idea on how to help you." He took a deep breath, seeing the shadows beneath the the door as Ariah settled down in the floor.
"h-hi Nath. I'm Ariah." She said softly, nervous about scaring the angel again "I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable earlier. I know doctors and you don't have the greatest track record but I promise I just want to help you. I'm not going to do anything to you that'll hurt you, okay?"

@Fraust

Nathaniel looked up and whimpered softly, his eyes wide with fear. He clung tightly to V, trembling violently where he lay. "W-What do you want from me…?" He asked in a shaky whisper. "What… what did I do…?" He started breathing a bit more heavily, gripping the fabric of V's shirt as he cried softly.

@Fenrir

V gently squeezed Nathaniel into his embrace and pressed a kiss on his head.
"You didn't do anything wrong Nath, you didt't do anything at all actually. I'm just here to make sure you're okay. Is it ok if I ask you a few general questions?"

@Fraust

Nathaniel drew in a wavering breath, considering as he clung to V. "I… I-I guess that's fine…" He replied in a shaky whisper. He sounded very uneasy and unsure but he didn't want to be even more of a problem, so he wanted to try and be compliant.

@Fenrir

"thank you, Nath. I know this takes a lot from you." Ariah said, wringing her hands as she started her questions. "So have you been through this kind of thing before? Being this sick? Do you know if you have any family with any conditions?"

@Fraust

"Not… not recently…" He replied quietly. "I was really sick when I first got kicked out, b-but I was only eight years old, so…" He gripped V tighter, a couple more tears rolling down his cheeks. "A-And I don't… I don't think any of my family has any medical conditions… if they do, they never told me."

@Fenrir

"alright, it's okay if you don't know. Did you eat anything out of your normal diet that you can think of? Anything new? Anything you might be allergic to?" She asked softly, writing in her notebook as he spoke.
V gently wiped away Nath tears, whispering how proud he was of him, and pressing kisses to cheeks

@Fraust

"I-I don't… I don't think so…" Nathaniel whispered, huddling closer to V and hiccuping again. "I don't have any… any food allergies that I know of… n-not that I remember, anyway…"

@Fenrir

"that's good, means we can rule out any strong medications." Ariah said, writing some more notes down. "Have you been sleeping and eating well before you got sick?" She asked
V tucked him safely beneath his chin, curling his body around Nathaniel's

@Fraust

"U-Um… I dunno…" Nathaniel replied weakly. "I-I haven't been eating all that much, b-but I… um… I've been sleeping a fair bit, I guess…" He buried his face in V's shoulder, breathing heavily.

@Fraust

(Bump)

@Fenrir

(so sorry! Thought I answered this)
"That's good! Gives your body time to rest and rehabilitate." Ariah exclaimed happily, slowly losing her nervousness. "I know it might be hard to keep things down for a few days but I think you're through the thick of it. You should try to eat something a bit more filling, even if it's just a few bites." She suggested, slowly standing from her spot beside the door. "I'm gonna find you a bit if a stronger medication than the one you have which should help you out. Is that right with you?"

@Fraust

(Np ^^)
Nathaniel whimpered softly and curled up tighter against V, seeming to grow more uneasy at the mention of medicine. "I-I don't… I don't know…" He said weakly. He wasn't sure whether or not he could trust medicine that she gave to him. It could be dangerous.

@Fenrir

V gently pressed his lips to Nath's brow practically hiding him from the world.
"If you don't feel comfortable taking the dosage I recommend, I can find you an over the counter medicine that's a lower disage. It's not as effective and you might be sick for a bit longer but it would work eventually." Ariah said, leaning against the wall

@Fraust

"I don't know… I d-don't know… p-please…" Nathaniel whispered, shaking a bit more violently in V's arms. "I-I don't— want—" He choked on his words, lapsing into a coughing fit and huddling closer. He didn't know what he was really trying to say anyway, but he was obviously afraid.

@Fenrir

V squeezed him tight, "it's alright love, you did great." He reassured, slowly detangling himself from the blankets and Nathaniel. "I'll be right back okay?" He slowly made his way out of the bedroom and gently guided Ariah to the living room. "Would it be alright if we stayed with the over-the-counter counter meds for now? Nath's not really comfortable with doctor given meds quite yet, even in small doses."
Ariah nodded in understanding "I see, and of course, yes. But in case he does need stronger ones, I'll send some over with Jarvis tomorrow." She lightly rested her hand on V's arm. "He did great today. I'm sorry if I caused him more trouble than good today but I do hope he gets better soon." She smiled softly and headed to the door, guided by her brother. "I'll see out all at the wedding."
