Blind or templet?
One on One! Because I'm bored!
Blind.
You wanna start?
I wouldn't know how to start this. You want to give it a go?
Sure! Give me a sec.
Skye wandered down the streets, ignoring some of the slight stares due to his multicolored hair. He wandered along the shop stalls occasionally stopping to look but never buying.
Val tucked her frizzy brown hair into a messy bun as she left her shop. She had ran out of Nickle brass and needed more. She usually just bought scraps from old adventures who didn't know what the heck they had or people who wanted to get rid of old metal. Being part dragon didn't allow her to have the same rights as everyone else. Especially when it came to her shop. But her had learned to manage.
(Sorry, was trying to watch a show with my mom but I gave up cause my head is bein' weird…)
Skye wandered along the streets, unaware of the shadowed figure following him. He wore loose pants, hunting boots, and a leather, hooded jacket. His hair was violet, with various blues, purples, and silver streaked through it, his eyes were also violet.
Val shuffled through out the market place. Nothing seemed to be here today. She sighed as she stuck her clawed hands into her dark brown overalls. She gave her wary looks as she walked through the crowd. She had dark brown skin with gold speckled scales that trailed up and down her arms. Her golden eyes eyed everyone. Her eyes fell on a young boy with colorful hair.
(Older boy/young man…)
Skye noticed the young lady with scales on her arms, but shrugged and kept on without giving a second thought. He stopped by a jewelry stall for a few moments, complementing the owner before heading to an alley.
Val watched as the young man walked off. She shrugged. She walked into the jewelry store he just left to see if the owner would sell her some metal. She was starting to get desperate.
Skye turned into the alley, and pulled out the list of items Silver had asked him to look for while he was out roaming. he was so wrapped up in reading the list he almost didn't see the bandits creeping up on him. "Now what would you want with me?" he asked quietly. turning around to face the bandits.
"We want those nice blades of yours," said one, "And any other valuables you have" said another, sneering at him.
"Not a chance pal" said Skye
"Oh I don't think you have a choice buddy!" Sneered the third, "Get 'em!" Suddenly Skye spotted and Archer up on the roof behind him, The Archer shot before he could think, Skye summoned and aura shield on instinct but the arrow went through his shield and hit him in the arm. Skye yelped as he fell to one knee, "Astras?" he gasped, pain shooting through his arm as he broke off the shaft, drawing one of his blades. Getting to his feet he rushed the men taking two by surprise, just enough to allow him to get to the street before the one who shot him appeared in front of him and swung his longbow under Skye's feet, tripping him.
Val sighed as she walked out of the jewelry shop in defeat. They would not 'a dirty halfling like you' any metal. She was about to start heading home when she heard a scuffle in the ally. She sighed. She too off her bag and threw it against the wall. Probably a mugging of some kind. She had earned a reputation around here. She always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to help people. She had earned the nickname 'Big Sis' by a lot of people. She walked into the ally and saw the scuffle. "Hey!" She bellowed. She had quite a loud voice when she wanted. "Get lost before you do something you regret." She said baring her fangs. He teeth were wicked sharp. They were usually good for scaring but she doubted that would work with these kind of people. She did this now to show she was angry.
Skye took the chance to swipe his leg under one and get to his feet. Only to be tackled by another who puuled out his other blade and handed to the men. The man began to search him and pulled out his Amulet. No! he thought, "You can't take that!" he said grabbing the chain with his teeth.
"Oh yes we will!" Laughed the man as another came to take it from him. Skye growled as he struggled to get up, blood oozing from the wound in his arm.
Val walked towards the man who seemed to pay her no attention. She lifted him off the ground easily. With her being built like an ox and being 7 ft tall it was quite easy. She held out her hand. "Give me the sword." She said holding out her hand. This probably wasn't going to work.
The man trembled but gave her a brave face, "Put me down!" he said swiping the blade at her, Skye was able to take the man's surprise and wiggle out from his grasp, pulling the amulet back around his neck he pulled a dagger from his coat, brandishing it with his uninjured arm as the men came for him. "The blades aren't that important!" he yelled to the girl, Yes they are…. My mom got them for me… he thought fighting back tears, but also not wanting anyone to get hurt.
Val raise an eyebrow. "I sense bullshit." She chuckled. She glared at the guys she held. "Sword. Now!" She demanded. She blew some smoke out as a warning.
ONe of the guys gave her the first blade, the other giving her the second. The last guy tried to attack Skye but this time Skye was ready and took him out. The three ran away in fear. "Thanks…" said Skye as he fell to one knee clutching his arm, Don't pass out now! It's just a bit of Altas….
Val clenched the knifes. She looked him over. He was hurt and looked like he was going to pass out at any second. She slipped the knifes in one of the oversized pockets in her overalls. She picked up Skye bridal style and started walking out of the ally.
Skye was going to protest when she scooped him up, but felt a wave of dizziness hit him as the Altas metal began to take it's toll on his auras..
"Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you." She said as she made her way back to her shop. "I have some healing supplies back at my shop. Your arm is look'n pretty bad." She explained so hopefully he wouldn't freak out.
Skye huffed a little but relaxed. just my luck..
Val walked into her shop. She shifted him to one hand as she pulled a lever. The whole shop seemed to wirr to life. Lights flickered on, reflecting off of her gold scales. She layed him down on a table. She went and got some healing supplies out of a cabinet. He was bleeding onto her table. "May I take your shirt off?" Val asked calmly.
Skye pushed himself up crosslegged and rolled his eyes. He shoved up his sleeve, revealing the arrow wound.
She took a piece of cloth and put of disinfectant on it. "This is going to hurt slightly." She said calmly as she started to clean the wound.
Skye didn't say a word as she cleaned it. "Do me a favor and just get the arrowhead out please?" he said when she finished.
She nodded. She wasn't how she was going to get it out with our causing him extreme pain. Her hands were way to big for this crap. She looked around for a clean tool to do it with.
Skye sighed, "I guess I'll just do it myself then…" he reached on hand around and found the arrow, wincing he grabbed hold, and pulled. Clenching hi teeth he stifled a yelp, dropping the arrow and clutching his arm as blood flowed freely.
She watched him as he pulled out the arrow head. "Dude. That was hardcore." She said as she walked back over to him and began to clean where the arrow head had been. She pushed him back into a laying down position.
Skye rolled his eyes again, "I've seen worse than bandits."
