Val stared at Skye for a long time. "I'm a half blood." She said in a monotone voice.
One on One! Because I'm bored!
"So am I" Said Skye carefully.
Val stared at him for a bit. And then burst out laughing. "Okay! That makes more sense now." She said laughing.
Skye watched her for a moment then shook his head with a sigh, "So what exactly are then?"
"Dragon." She said casually. "I figured you would of figured out by now. I set things on fire in front of you and I literally have scales all over me."
"I've seen wolves with scales, Horses with scales, And fully human people with scales." said Skye listing off a few other things while he was at it. "For all I knew you could've been half Fire Fish" he said jokingly.
Val laughed at that. "True! What about you?" She asked leaning against a work table.
"Wolf" replied Skye.
She looked at Skye for a bit. "You don't look like it." She said. But then she shrugged. "Ehh! I doesn't matter.
"Half Wolves don't really show it at first glance." said Skye, "But one sure sign is my hair, eyes, and amulet."
"Your hair is purple." She said. "And what does your amulet have anything to do with that?" She asked as she tilted her head to the side.
"It's more or less a source of my magic. Or rather, it keeps my human and wolf halves from colliding.." explained Skye. "And purple hair equals purple fur."
She nodded her head. "Sorry for the questions. I've never seen a wolf hybrid before." She said turning away from him to check on the metal.
"Wolf Hybrid?" said Skye, "I'm just half wolf, a wolf hybrid would be someone who has the blood of two different kinds of wolf and is half human."
She smacked herself and groaned. "Sorry! Gods! I'm messing up everything!" She exclaimed.
"Hey I can't expect you to know everything!" Said Skye with a grin, "There's no need to panic!"
She groaned. "It's fine!" She said as she turned back to the metal. It had melted and she brought it over to a mold. She pored it into a mold of a coin.
Skye watched with interest, careful to stay well out of the way.
She set the coin and moved over to another coin slot, And another and another. Each mold was different.
"What exactly are you making?" Asked Skye. "I mean I doubt its money. "
She chuckled. "Your right. I'm making a coin that a special group of people." She said. She wanted to be vague just in case he went to rat her out.
Skye raised a questioning eyebrow but didnt pry.
(I don't know what to do now.)
(…….. Ask a random question??)
"Do you have anywhere to stay?" Val asked as she turned towards him. She would have to let the coins set for a while so might as well make some small talk.
"Not really" said Skye with a shrug, "But I don't really need one either…"
"You can stay here until your arm is healed up or you have a place to stay." Val said. "There isn't much here but I do have a spare room."
"Nah" said Skye, "Not to be rude or anything but I would rather not cause you anymore expense. I do appreciate it, but I can handle that myself." said Skye.
"No! It's fine! Really!" Val said. "Plus I am not going to let you out of here until your arm is healed."
skye gave her a flat look, "Only if you make me, and only because I know better than to argue with a female"
(He has some pretty harsh sisters…)
