Anarchy hummed as she waited for the subway, drumming her fingers against her leg. She sighed, checking the time again. "Come on… the band'll kill me if I'm late again…" She muttered, adjusting her grip on her guitar case. The subway pulled in after a few minutes. "Thank fuck!" She said, jumping on and grabbing the pole.

Vixy was banging against her guitar case with her drumsticks. She was heading to meet her brother Max, and he wanted her to bring her guitar case. She has complied, but was now creating a tune by using her guitar case as a makeshift drum set. She looked up as the doors opened and as new people came on, a girl with black hair catching her eye.

Anarchy sighed, leaning against the pole. "God damn, they're gonna tear me a new one…" She muttered. She decided to just wait for the train to reach her stop and submit to her doom. "And we're recording- fuck!"

((Maybe they meet at the same studio or something?))

"You in a band or something?" Vixy asked, unmistakably overhearing what the girl was saying. She stopped drumming on her guitar case. "Bands are too much drama. Went solo cause of that."

Anarchy looked up, nodding. "Yeah, but I've known 'em all since high school. Besides, my fault, technically." She said, shrugging.

She sighed, not wanting to remember. "Yeah, I broke up with my band a couple years ago. My ex-girlfriend and I had a huge fight, and we couldn't work together in the band anymore."

"So.. Fleetwood Mac style?" She said, not knowing how to respond to that.

"No…more: I found out she was cheating on me with my step-brother. Obviously that didn't sit well with me and we broke up in spectacular style. And…the band suffered because of it."

"Oh." She said, shifting her weight. "Well, she obviously didn't fucking deserve you."

"Seems like my step-brother did though," She muttered under her breath. "Where are you recording?"

"Uh… fuck, let's see if I can actually pronounce it this time… Musicorum studio?" She said, hoping she didn't butcher it. "Sorry, I can't pronounce things for shit."

"Oh! I'm headed there too! I'm meeting my brother. He's high up at the studio."

"Nice!" She said, smiling. "Hey, random question, but does the room you use have a creepy photo in it?" She asked, curious. "'Cause my band mates keep saying I'm crazy."

"No, I'm normally in a single music studio," She replied. "We never recorded any songs when in the band."

"Huh. Just me then." She said, stumbling as the train came to a halt. "Fuck!" She said, catching herself.

Vixy let out a small laugh. "Have you ever caught the subway before?!" She tried to stop laughing, knowing it was kind of rude.

" I have. I'm just never ready for when it stops." She said, a bit indignant.

"Well then you obviously haven't caught it enough," She replied, going back to drumming on her guitar case. It was a noticeable tune, even though she wasn't singing.

Anarchy hummed softly, moving aside for someone to get through.

Vixy waited until it was the next stop, then picked up her guitar case. "This is my stop. And if we're going to the same place, it should be yours."

"Yeah." She said, adjusting her grip on her guitar case and heading to the door.

"So is being part of the band your full time job or do you do other things? I mean, sure I record and everything, but my real job is being a paramedic."

"I'm a barista part time. Not much for me to do, really." She said, shrugging. "But it pays the rent."

Vixy was in the studio, listening to her music producer. "So I'm gonna get you to re-sing the song," She said. "This time use more emphasis on the words as you come in from the bridge, like on the demo."

Anarchy was strumming on her guitar with the rest of her band, occasionally looking back up the picture on the wall. As creepy as she found it, she tended to keep looking back at it. It was guy, who looked like what would have happened it Sid Vicious and Joey Ramone had a kid, from the decades ago, but he still seemed familiar.

"Anarchy! Get your head out of your fucking ass!"

Anarchy winced, muttering an apology and going back to playing.

"Yeah, I hear that," she replied. "I also noticed that there were a couple off notes from the drum. That's on my part, but it's probably easier if I do the drums now before the singing."
"No, you're better off re-doing the audio. Trust me on that."
"Yep, OK." She walked into the booth and put her headphones on. "Hit the music Varsity."

Anarchy managed to get away when they decided to take a break, walking down the hall to get something from the vending machine, singing to herself. "Drag me to hell, darling, just let me hold your hand." Yeah, she could never show that to the band.
