Over Here Loki_Hyakuya!!

Hello! Asa sent back in response, full of energy and very friendly. She gave the dragon equivalent of a smile, bounding around.

A chuckle rose in the fae and as she let it out she had noticed a hunter behind Asa. the fae moved quickly and made Asa follow her "Run! the hunters are back!"

Asa's eyes widened.
Come with me! She said, running to Lychan's house.

The fae followed her and noticed where they were going "The MAGE!! How have you met him!!" she looked at Asa with shocked fascination

He bought me! She said, skidding into the house.

Lychan had been shocked at how fast Asa came in and that a fae had followed her "Asa you found an earth fae! That's amazing! is she your friend?" He called from the kitchen which had a bar to separate it from the living room where the door had been

Asa nodded her head, chirping. Then, she turned back to the earth fae.
Wait, what's your name? She asked.

"Vixen, though most fae call me Vex" She simply shrugged and looked at Lychan then bowed her head
Lychan laughed "You have no need to bow Vixen i may be a mage but i do not wish to enslave magic"

Asa bounds between Vex and Lychan, excited. She would rub against Lychan's leg and spin around Vex.
This is so cool!

Lychan made a bubble of magic that formed into a communicator and held it down to Asa

Asa took it, and let out a sound that translated into a giggle.
"I'm really glad you brought me here!" She said happily, butting her head against Lychan's leg before turning to Vex.
"And I'm really happy I met you, and that we got away from the hunters!"

Lychan jumped "HUNTERS! In these woods! they shouldn't be it's forbidden." he let out a huff of breath and tried to calm down then scratched Asa's snout

Asa leaned into Lychan's touch, humming happily.
"That's how it is in most places; hunters weren't supposed to come into my first home woods, but they did and here I am."

"but i have enchanted the borders of these forest and keep them strong to protect the fae and any mythical creature in them" Lychan had been sitting beside Asa, legs crossed, with a concerned look set on his face.
"It's true his family have lived here many millenia to protect the forests with magic and keep the hunters out" The fear in Vixen's eyes made it apparent how worrisome this truly was.

Asa put her head on Lychan's lap.
"Well, is there any way to check the enchantment to see what might have let the hunters in?" She suggested, looking up at Vex and Lychan.

Lychan put a hand at the base of Asa's wings and smiled "You are correct the spell does need checked. Would you like to help me?"

"Really? You'd let me help?" Asa crawled onto Lychan's lap, looking up at him.

"yes i could teach you the enchantment on the way" Lychan smiled

"Can… can dragons use magic?" Asa asked. She'd never heard of a dragon using magic before, and there was no way Lychan could know she was a halfling.

"It depends on how powerful the being that is lending them magic is and i am pretty powerful" Lychan said with a wink as he stood "Now repeat after me "Lelani o' shi onick"

"Lelani o' shi onick!" Asa said happily.

"na aih ido" Lychan continued and ended the spell

Asa copied Lychan, then spun around in a circle.
"Does this mean I can use magic now?"

Lychan nodded and said to Asa "As long as I lend you the magic you need"

"Yay!" Asa ran in circles around Lychan, letting out little puffs of smoke.

once they reached a certain part of the border land to the forest Lycan tapped Asa telling her to start the spell and started chanting it in a low voice that got louder with each time "Lelani o' shi onick na aih ido!"

Asa chanted with Lychan, eerily serious as they spoke the spell.
"Lelani o' shi onick na aih ido!" Her voice was loud and clear, ringing with power.

After finishing the spell Lychan sat down to rest and crossed his legs "Man that was fun"

Asa crawled into Lychan's lap, curling up in a ball and letting out a puff of smoke, exhausted.
"Yeah, it was…" She said, letting out a yawn.

Lychan chuckled and picked the dragon up then carried her home
