She glared and glanced at her crew, a frustrated growl coming from her, "What do you want?" She asked lowly, standing her ground and doing her best to ignore the pleading from some of her crew, the others just fighting back in rage. The Blind Doom was far past the point of saving, she decided that, now she had to figure out if he was going to kill her crew if she cooperated, or if he would actually spare them.

He took a step forward ignoring the screams and pleads of mercy coming from The Blind Dooms crewmates. Afterall, he was used to it. Taking a step forward to the captain, he went about what he wanted. "Well first and foremost, I would like you to order your crewmates to stand down, unless of course you have no value for their lives. As for what I really want, I want your crew and you." He grinned with an cold stare, one that could send shivers up your spine.

@gracehustle

She narrowed her eyes and went silent for a moment, "Stand down," She shouted to her remaining crew, not taking her eyes off of the captain. He could still be planning something and she didn't trust him. "You want us to join your crew?" She asked, raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms. Her sword was still in her hand and she made sure that she could still fight if she needed to.

Watching her be so cautious made him grin even more. He strolled around her, circling her, not once taking his eyes off of her. "I can see when one has spark and is good enough, and when one is not good enough. Color me impressed lass but you have spark. Something I like in a crewmate, so yes I want you and your crewmates to join my crew." He tilted his head and remained grinning. "What do you say? Yes?"

@gracehustle

"Ask them, I don't control their every action." She said lowly, jerking her head towards the crew, "As for myself," She started, "I'll think about it. I didn't become captain just so I could throw away the title and join a new crew." The crew muttered among themselves and she clenched her jaw, hoping that they would play along and call her captain even though they knew she was only the first mate.

He stayed grinning, but his eyes became lifeless and cold. He ever so slowly moved up to her ear and whispered. "Lass, I can't tell when one is lying about being a captain, I myself have been one since I was just fifteen." He pulled back fast and faced her crew. "As for you men, I can give you two choices. You may resign me, only to stay on a ship that will be gone in just a matter of time and suffer a slow painful death from the sirens. Or, you can join me and my crew of men on the Silver Stallion, your choice." His crewmates made their way to his side, all facing the old crew of the perishing ship The Blind Doom.

@gracehustle

The men mumbled and slowly, one by one, they joined his crew, besides a few older members that decided that death was a better fate. Reva's jaw tightened and she slowly put her cutlass away, glaring at the captain, "I may not have been captain, but I am now since Hayes fled when he saw your ship. I will not join your crew, but I refuse to be left on this ship." She crossed her arms and went silent, her eyes flashing in defiance.

Jerome chuckled, he loved winning. His crew had already started moving back to the Silver Stallion, taking the new crewmates with them. He studied the girl with observant eyes. Crossing his arms to mock her, he smiled. "Oh well, I guess I can just leave you to be captain of this sinking ship. Say hi to the sirens for me!" With that he turned around and started for his own ship, leaving her standing there with her old crewmates. Alro waited a few seconds looking at her and turned to start for the Silver Stallion with the captain.

@gracehustle

"I refuse to be left on this ship." She growled, "Lock me in your ship's brig if you want, but I will not join your crew, and I will not be left here." Reva started to follow the boy to ship, a small flash of fear crossing her face before she resumed her stone cold expression. Her pride and stubbornness meant that she refused to let him win, it also meant that she refused to be left on this worthless ship.

group

A few of the Silver Stallions crew members blocked her way refusing to let her on. Alro mouthed the word "Sorry" before making his way onto the Silver Stallion. Jerome however who had stopped in his tracks, made his way back onto the slowly perishing ship face to face with the girl. "If there is one thing I hate most in the seas, it's a pirate who is stubborn as yourself. That attitude will get you nowhere lass." He growled, "If there is one thing you should know about the Silver Stallion is we hold no prisoners, you either join us or die, I gave you a chance. Now I might as well push you into the water and leave you for the sirens to deal with." A few of the crewmates chuckled at this.

@gracehustle

She spread her arms out and met his eyes. "Then do it." She growled, "Push me in captain." She spat the last word, her hair blowing in the wind and her eyes flashing dangerously as she took a step towards him, "That, or lock me in the brig on your ship. Starve me if you wish." The Blind Doom creaked and shook as it started to fall apart, slowly falling apart.

group

He laughed, he laughed loudly. Did she really think that he wouldn't push her into the water? He could have cared less what happened to this girl. By then Alro had silently crept back onto the falling ship next to Jerome, giving the girl a pitiful look. Some of the crewmates had started backing away reverting to the Silver Stallion. He smirked. "Well lass, suit yourself, you should have taken my mercy." With that he pushed the girl into the water.

@gracehustle

She met his eyes and the boy's one last time as she fell, a mix of fear and stubbornness in her eyes, "It was nice meeting you captain, take care of that boy of yours." She shouted up before she hit the water, bracing herself for the sirens to come for her as she swam deeper into the water. The sea was cold and unforgiving but so was she. All she had to do was make it away from the beasts. Her eyes stung as she opened them under the waves and looked around for the bottom of his ship, swimming towards it the instant she saw it.

group

He watched the girl swim towards the bottom of his ship. Pathetic is all the could think. The rest of his crewmates and him made their way back onto the Silver Stallion. The crewmates were mumbling to themselves wondering if she would make it to the ship. "Don't worry about that lads, being as im on good terms with those sirens, she won't make it in time." He said reassuringly. Alro hadn't even listened to what the captain had said, he jumped in the water towards the girl and pulled her to one of the ships lifeboats on the side, still left in the water. Disobeying what the captain had said. No saving those meant to die

@gracehustle

She silently questioned why the boy was helping her, but she took the help, climbing into the lifeboat with his help. "Your captain isn't going to like that you helped me," She said, nodding in reluctant thanks. The Blind Doom continued falling to pieces in the water and she felt a pang of sadness, that was one of the few places she had ever called home, and now it was sinking to the bottom of the sea.

group

Alro looked down, knowing she was right about the captain not liking this. Looking up at the ship he noticed Jerome glaring down at them. "I have my ways with the captain, and besides you couldn't just die out there, there's something about you that was interesting." He said quietly, knowing that the captain would be not happy with him that night. He silently observed the girl watch The Blind Doom sink.

@gracehustle

She didn't answer, watching as the ship finally sank below the waves forever. Reva rolled her neck and looked at the boy, "I doubt that there is anything interesting about me besides my stubbornness." Her clothes were soaking wet and they stuck to her body, along with her hair that was plastered to her back, a few stray strands sticking to her face.

group

Alro shook his head. "I would disagree with that. You impressed my captain, I don't think in all my years of being with him have I seen him impressed. If someone can impress him now that's interesting." Alro smiled and stuck one of his legs in the water, ignoring the sirens circling around them. Besides of being soaking wet, he didn't show any signs of worry.

@gracehustle

"Why aren't that attacking?" She asked, mostly to herself as she looked into the water at the creatures. She didn't dare stick her fingers into the water to test if they would still attack and instead she looked up at the ship, smirking slightly, "When do you think he'll raise this boat up?" She questioned, turning to the boy to see if he knew the answer to that question.

group

Alro tilted his head examining the water, watching the sirens. "Ever since the captain started using them to help defeat other ships, they came to good terms, he is afterall supplying their meals, Plus, they won't attack any of his crewmates out of fear of him." Alro said while smiling. He turned and faced the girl. "As for raising the boat, I have no clue, most likely whenever the captain feels like it."

@gracehustle

Reva looked into the water once more, shaking her head, "I'm not going to take any chances with those creatures, I'll stay far away from them." She laid herself out in the boat and focused on the sky, letting her clothes dry, "I don't figure he'll want to raise the boat up anytime soon, he's probably busy beating my former crew or murdering them, something like that."

group

Alro couldn't it in, he let out a laugh. "Wow you really think my captain is doing that? Where do you think we even got our crew from! Half of those men are from other ships we have plundered. Im betting right now he's probably welcoming those men and just giving out their tasks on the ship." Alro grinned and looked off into the horizon of the sea. "I mean, where do you think he got a young boy like me from?"

@gracehustle

"I figured he had captured you from some island or something," She said with a shrug, "I don't know anything about your captain, he could be the wildest and meanest captain anyone has ever seen and I wouldn't know." Reva looked off at the water as well, her foot tapping against the side of the small boat in boredom, "The only things I know about him are, he's the captain of that ship, and you are his little helper."

group

"More of, he saved me from another pirate ship. I was meant to be a slave worker on that ship. Captain always seems cold and wildest to others, always has. I believe otherwise, so do any of our other crewmates. They all hated him in the beginning, and now, they are willing to die for him. He's possibly one of kindest pirates out there. Besides being a pirate and all." Alro continued smiling off towards the water. "And I think you should reconsider being a crewmate."

@gracehustle

Reva let out a sharp laugh and looked over at the boy, "And why would I reconsider? Right now I'm the captain of a ship, granted that ship is at the bottom of the ocean, but I'm still the captain." She crossed her arms across her chest and continued tapping her foot, her clothes slowly drying in the sun, "I have a problem with taking orders as well as being as stubborn as a mule, and that usually makes being part of a crew quite difficult."

group

Alro merely shook his head. "I hate to break it to you, but you being captain ended when that ship of yours sank." Alro looked at the stubborn girl, she wasn't easy to convince. "Like the captain said earlier, that stubbornness will get you nowhere, and being apart of our crew isn't as bad as you think. We don't really ever have orders, we do what we think is best and hope that works, that why the captain is so loved. He only ever really gives us orders for taking over ships." His clothes had already dried completely due to his spot in the lifeboat.

@gracehustle

"I'll consider it." She said with a dismissive wave of her hand, "Though I have a strong feeling that your captain already hates me and will probably give me stupid orders just to make me furious." She sighed and rolled onto her back once the front of her was fully dry, quite irritated that she was still stuck on this boat, "My stubbornness got me to the rank of first mate, so I would argue that it got me somewhere, and from there it was just a matter of having a scaredy cat captain an poof, I was captain."

group

Alro simply shook his head. "My captain has never been one to quick to hate, and you underestimate the man for how he would treat you." He scratched his neck and looked up the ropes connecting the lifeboat and the ship, knowing why they hadn't been pulled up yet. "And would you really consider your stubbornness getting you somewhere when the only reason you became a captain was because the one before you chickened out?"

@gracehustle

She looked over at the boy and scowled, "I became first mate with my stubbornness, so yes, I would consider my stubbornness getting me somewhere." Reva huffed and looked down into the water again, her impatience growing by the minute, "Is he going to leave us in this boat overnight?" She asked, untying her auburn hair from its braid and combing through it with her fingers.

group

Shaking his head Alro stood up. "You know, you should really work on that attitude of yours,it might do some good." Alro beamed with a smile while looking upward at the ship. His crewmates were making hand signs to tell him something. "Well and as for being left in the boat, i'm afraid you're the only one who is going to stay here overnight, that is unless you reconsider joining the crew." With that Alro jumped into the water. Grabbing a rope a crewmate threw done he was pulled onto the ship, leaving the girl in the lifeboat alone.
