Alexa smiled at him as she thought for a moment, "What about a labrador? Or just a big fluffy dog you know?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Or a german shepherd," he said with a shrug. "Although a lab would work. Or a retriever, those guys are cute, fluffy, loyal, and funny, so it's the whole package."

@ShadeStar

Alexa laughed and looked out the window, "Then we're getting a retriever. Looks like we're at the hotel already."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Yep." Arsen paid the driver and opened the door, climbing out. "Now how do we want to go about this?" He asked in a quiet tone, once Alexa had exited. "Do we want to walk in cautiously, or like we belong there? Because if the System is here, then we have no chance fighting against them. They're trained proffesionals."

@ShadeStar

"Act like you own the place," Alexa responded still letting herself rest after using her abilities. She would have offered if she didn't want to save it for later, "Less people will question it, we're just getting out stuff and then we're leaving. That's all."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"True," he agreed. "But if they're in the room already? What should we do?"

@ShadeStar

"Then, we'll figure it out when we get there," Alexa responded shoving her hands in her pockets, "Let's go."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Whatever you say." Arsen started for the building. In the lobbey, there was no one there, so he started toward the elevator. He climbed in. When he got to their room, he hesitated only a moment before unlocking the door and going in. This was eerie and silent and creepy, with no one around, and the tension building.

The room was empty.

@ShadeStar

Alexa spotted the empty room and only grew tense. There was no one here, at least that they could see. Theives were always a possibility, and there were most definitely a few in the hotel. Alexa had felt like she was being watched the whole way up. She nodded to Arsen, "Let's get going then. The sooner the better."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Hurry," he murmered. "We don't know of they'll be coming or not. We have to be careful." He went to his room, shoving all of his stuff in his bag before going back into the living room area.

@ShadeStar

"Or if they're already here," Alexa murmured to herself before walking into her room. She hadn't unpacked much, so it didn't take long for her to shove all her stuff in her bag. Her knife was now strapped to her belt ready to go at a moment's notice. She stepped back out into the living room area, "Ready?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

"As I'll ever be." Arsen headed out the door. "What do you suggest we do for the car? As they took ours." He slung his bag over his shoulder.

@ShadeStar

"Let's walk for now," Alexa suggested looking around one final time. She was trying to sense if there were any other thieves around. She eventually shrugged and kept going, "Do you know any place we can go?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

"We could get another hotel," he said. "Or we could head back home." He was worried. Something didn't seem right… why was it so silent? Where was everyone?

@ShadeStar

Alexa grabbed Arsen's hand. This wasn't right, it can't be. She pulled up and over her invisibility on to both of them and their luggage. She whispered softly, "Let's get another hotel."

@PrettyLittlePyro

Arsen nodded, and then realized that she probably couldn't see him. He crept down the stairs instead of the elevator, and when he stepped out of the stairwell, still clutching Alexa's hand, he stiffened. "There. By the door. You see them?" Three System agents in black were arguing with the hotel clerk.

@ShadeStar

Alexa was going to nod but instead squeezed his hand. Thieves speak for yes since ya know, nodding wasn’t an option, “Yeah. We need to just be quiet and get out.”

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Out the back entrance?" Arsen pulled her back towards the stairwell, hand still in hers.

@ShadeStar

Alexa squeezed his hand again as she followed after starting to pull him. She said nothing else in fear of being heard.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Arsen went through the door near the stairwell. It probably looked really weird, the door opening of its own accord. He started to walk down the sidewalk quickly, trying to get out of sight of the hotel as fast as possible before Alexa's invisibility faded.

@ShadeStar

Alexa moved with him trying to get as far away from the building before she was completely drained. She was a skilled Theif, yes, but even she had her limits. Especially considering how much she had to make unseen. She managed to make it to the end of the next block before she had to let the invisibility up out of breath.

@PrettyLittlePyro

When they faded into view, there was no one that looked twice at them. Apparently people appearing random places was normal, then. Then again, this was New York. Weird things happened here all the time.

@ShadeStar

Alexa looked to Arsen, "Can, can we stop for a moment? I need to catch my breath."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Of course." Arsen let her stop, and they rested in front of a tall building. He glanced at the sign over the door. It was a simple clothing store. He looked at her, eyebrows raised in a question.

@ShadeStar

Alexa saw the sign as she leaned against the building in question. She gave him a short nod as she ran a hand through her hair trying not to appear as winded as she really was, "Yeah, good idea."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Do you want to go in now, or later, once you've caught your breath?" He asked, slightly concerned. She was acting, he knew, pretending that she was doing better than she really was.

@ShadeStar

"Now is fine," Alexa pushed herself off the wall before falling back on it. She couldn't find the energy to stay standing upright, "Or later. Later works fine."

@PrettyLittlePyro

Arsen caught her quickly, helping her support her weight. "How did you manage to run for so long if this is what it did to you?"

@ShadeStar

"Because I only get hit with the effects when I become visible," Alexa responded trying to move so Arsen didn't have to hold her up, "And I haven't pushed my limits in a while."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"How many people have you managed to turn invisible?" He asked, motioning to the store, indicating that they should go in.
