"Don't use the whole bottle," Alexa responded looking at what remained, "After this round I'll probably rinse my hair and see how much more I need to put in."

"Alright." He finished rubbing the dye into her hair and carefully closed the bottle. "Well, think that might be good. Then again, I'm not exactly the leading speaker words on how to dye hair, so…"
"It looks good from here," Alexa responded standing up and turning around to face him. She gave him a little smile as she took her gloves off, "You might want to leave since I need to shower to rinse it out."
"You mean I can't watch you?" Arsen whined, jokingly. "But I could learn so much from watching you shower!"
"Yeah, you would learn that you're a pervert," Alexa responded starting to push him out of the bathroom.
"I already know that," Arsen said, choking back a laugh at her quick refusal. It wasn't that he was serious, but it was fun to tease her.
"Oh? You already know you're a pervert? Good, now get out," Alexa let out a little laugh as she smiled at him.
"Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!" Arsen rolled his eyes and laughed, returning her smile and, after a pretended reluctant moment, left.
Alexa shut the door behind him and went to rinse out her hair. It didn't take long and she came out with a nice head of strawberry-ish red hair. Not quite as dark as she would have liked it, but at least it was red.
"You look… different," Arsen said, blinking at the change that had occured on the young woman in front of him. "I almost don't recognize you."
"Even more different than the blonde?" Alexa asked as she walked up to where he was. She was towel drying it even though it was staining the towel, "I'm shocked."
"Yes. Red hair makes you look more… innocent." Arsen smothered a smile. "Are you really that shocked, though?"
"I mean a little. I thought the blonde was bad but apparently red does a better job," Alexa ended up sitting down, "And innocent? I guess cause it's more of a strawberry color."
"Yeah. It does make you look more innocent." Arsen sat on the counter and leaned back on his hands. "And if you make your expression milder, then it will be even better."
Alexa scrunched her face up in response to that before letting it fall relaxed. It was a practiced action and it showed, "So I look super innocent right now? That just feels weird to think about."
"You do," Arsen said, laughing. "Does that offend you? Because I'd think it'd be a compliment." He grinned. "Then again, I don't know the minds of girls."
"No, most girls would call it a compliment," Alexa told him crossing her arms and letting her face fall back to its usual demeanor, "I don't. I enjoy being able to intimidate both boys and girls with my looks."
"But this way no one will suspect that it's you." Arsen sobered. "I hope we aren't recognized."
"Yeah, I guess they wouldn't," Alexa sighed as she went to run a hand through her now red hair, "You on the other hand might be a teensy bit suspicious."
"Probably." Arsen shrugged. "Maybe I'll just get a fake mustache or something. Or not shave."
"You shave?" Alexa asked him with a raised eyebrow not quiet believing him, "But that might work along with the colored contacts."
"I do," Arsen said with a sniff. "Hair grows on my face, and I don't want it there. But I look different, so… it could work."
"It might, except your beard hair will be darker than your hair hair," Alexa pointed out still unable to grasp the concept of Arsen with any semblance of a beard, "So we would probably need to dye it as well if possible."
"That's true…" Arsen sighed dramatically. "So, should I, or should I keep my handsome face unmarred?"
"I think you should," Alexa commented after a moment, "It'll make you more unrecognizable than if you didn't. We might be able to get away with not dying it for a while."
"Alright." Arsen leaned back against the wall. "Is dying a beard even possible if it's only a bristle?"
"I mean, once it gets to a certain length I'm sure you can," Alexa responded with a shrug.
"But that takes days," Arsen mock complained. He walked over to the fridge and opened it, picking out a can of sparkling water and popping the lid open. "Do we have any plans yet as to what we'll do while we wait for the resistance to meet with us?" He asked, taking a sip.
"Lay low and move only when need be," Alexa responded with a little sigh as she watched him. She smiled a little as she watched him, "Besides, you'll have plenty of time to grow your beard while we hole up in here."
"Yeah, I know," Arsen said, putting the can down on the counter. "But what should we do during that time? Should we just stay and watch movies while we wait? Or what?"
