Alexa opened the door as she heard Arsen. She looked up at Arsen a little quizzically, "Do I really need to buy a new dress? I have one in my stuff."

She had brought one with her, sure it wasn't the best, but it was something she could afford at the time. She didn't think she could buy a new dress, especially if he was thinking an expensive.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"One that you brought? Would it look good around a bunch of million-or-billionaires? No, it probably wouldn't."

@ShadeStar

"It wouldn't," Alexa admitted as she glanced at the floor before she dragged her eyes back up to meet his, "But it's not like I have the funds to buy a better one."

@PrettyLittlePyro

He sighed. knowing he had no choice, grinding his teeth all the while, he said, "The System have us some money for this kind of stuff." He was lying through his teeth.

@ShadeStar

Alexa didn't remember reading anything about that, but if he said so, "They do? Then I guess I will have to go shopping for one."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Pick one that won't make you stand out." He left, clenching his fists. If he wanted to get this mission done, it had to be done right, even if it meant that he would have to pay for her dress.

@ShadeStar

Alexa could note his mannerisms. She started to put the puzzle pieces together and leaned her head out the window before calling out, "Don't worry. I won't buy a super expensive one."

She went back into the room and pulled out her school computer. She began to scroll through different dress shops trying to find a reasonably priced, but fancy looking dress. God, they were all so expensive.

@PrettyLittlePyro

He rolled his eyes. "But that's what all the women buy." He scowled in annoyance and went into his room.

@ShadeStar

Alexa found a dress online. It was definitely nicer than the previous dress she had and it was only a little over 60 dollars. Not bad considering other dresses had been way over 100. She realized she would need a card number in order to properly get the dress and, after taking a deep breath, she stood up and knocked on Arsen's door, "I, uh, need your card."

@PrettyLittlePyro

He opened the door a crack and tossed it out. He hoped it was something good. He would go see, but he realy didn't want to.

@ShadeStar

Alexa grabbed the car and sat down in front of his door with her laptop balancing on her knees. She input the card information making sure not to mess up the first time. Thankfully she didn't and reached her hand into the slightly opened the door with his card in hand, "Don't want to see the dress? Make sure I don't buy a so-called 'Lowbrow' dress."

@PrettyLittlePyro

He rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Bring it here."

@ShadeStar

Alexa removed her laptop as she stood up slightly smirking. She reached down and grabbed the computer before stepping into the room. She walked up to where he was and held out his card for him to take. She then turned the computer around showing him the dress.

@PrettyLittlePyro

He glanced at it, then sighed. "It will have to work." He slipped his card into his pocket. "I'm going out. Don't burn the place down."

@ShadeStar

Alexa rolled her eyes as she closed the computer. She stepped out of his roI'm and walked over to her own, "I won't. Have a bit of faith in me, ya Arse."

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Too hard." He bristled at the nickname, wishing, as he often did, that he could change his name. "No one could trust you."

@ShadeStar

"Why? Because I'm a Theif?" Alexa asked him hostility lacing her voice. She tried to keep it out, but it was getting difficult, "Well fun fact, I didn't choose to be. So stop judging me for something out of my control."

@PrettyLittlePyro

He was actually startled by what she had said. He would never admit it, but she was right. "Because you're you," was the best comeback he could come up with.

@ShadeStar

Alexa felt more hurt by that than anything else he could possibly say. She took a breath controlling her temper that threatened to explode once more, "So that's how it's going to be. No matter what I say you're going to just be ignorant. Fine, just fucking go already. I'll just be in my room."

She turned around and stalked into the room slamming the door behind her.

@PrettyLittlePyro

He rolled his eyes. "Good grief." He left. He didn't feel even a little bit bad, although he was startled that she actually stood up to him. That didn't happen really ever. It was a strange feeling.

@ShadeStar

Alexa let out a long breath as she leaned against the door. She let out a soft sigh and put her forehead in her hands. This was the man she was stuck with until this damn mission was done with. This wasn't going to be easy, but she needed to bite her tongue a little. That was going to be the most difficult part.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Arsen was wandering through a store, looking for food, and basic ingredients. He would never admit it, but he loved to cook, and so he wanted to get some stuff. He realized that cooking would be a problem around that Lowborn, though, so he would have to be careful.

@ShadeStar

Alexa rank a hand through her hair noticing a slight blackness to the hand once it was through. She let out a long sigh and went to the bathroom, looks like she missed a part of her hair.

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Time skip?)

@ShadeStar

(Sure, you start?)

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Okay!)

Arsen was not in a good mood when he got back. He had met some rather… irritating people, ones he'd prefer to avoid, and now he was in a foul mood.

@ShadeStar

Alexa heard Arsen come back and looked up from where she was on the couch. She had been doing some research on the city since she hadn't been in it before along with checking ever so often if the dye had finally set in.

@PrettyLittlePyro

He scowled at the sight of her, still in the main room, and dropped his bags onto the ground. He stormed into the bathroom, fists clenched, face furious.

@ShadeStar

(Love the name change)

Alexa glanced up to see Arsen go and storm into the bathroom. She saw the bags on the ground and silently went to just move them to the counter. Not touching any of the contents on the inside.

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Thanks lol)

He ran his hands under cold water, then splashed some on his face, glaring at his reflection in the mirror. Those guys had been tough. They had cornered him in the crowd, and he had had to hurt at least one of them before they backed off. It was quite annoying, really. He suspected that they were Commoners, most of them. Good thing they didn't have a Runner with them, he thought, smiling grimly.
