Daisy chuckled and continued to eat. If she didn’t want to pay for her food, then she had to finish before Arvil. And she was determined to win. It was just in her nature.
Arvil chuckled, shaking his head. Whether he won or lost, it wouldn’t really matter. He’d pat for her all the same. So Arvil kept taking big bites, though he chewed properly. He didn’t want to choke, after all.

Daisy took another bite of her food and glanced over at Arvil. Her eyes widened slightly when she noticed that he was almost finished. If he just took another couple of bites, he would win…
Arvil put the last bite in his mouth, chewing before he swallowed. He took a sip of water and licked his lips, turning to Daisy with a smirk.
"Looks like I win~," he sang with a wink. "What did you say the winner had to do, love?"

Daisy sighed and set her food in her lap. “Winner gets to pick the next place we have dinner. Loser has to pay for it,” she said slowly.
Arvil picked up her food and pressed it into her hands before he shifted, laying his head down on her lap. “And I get to rest on your lap,” he poked her stomach mischievously. “Which is a bonus.”

“Yeah, yeah. You’d better hope o don’t drop food on your face,” Daisy said, a slight tease in her voice. She smiled a bit before taking another bite of her food, almost wanting to run her hands through his hair…
“Maybe you could lick it off,” Arvil smirked at her, shooting her a wink before he closed his eyes, making himself comfortable further on her lap. “Bet you’d enjoy that. No?”

Daisy nearly choked on her food, her cheeks turning bright red. “Arvil! Seriously? While I’m trying to eat? Are you trying to make me choke?”
Arvil broke out laughing, turning on his side and curling up as he hugged his stomach, the sounds spilling from his mouth. “Ah, you are so amusing, darling,” he chuckled, laughter still threatening to burst. “I adore your reactions.”

“Oh my gosh,” Daisy groaned, setting her food down and burying her face in her hands. Her cheeks were still bright red, as she was thoroughly flustered by the words of the man. “Why do you do this to me?”
Arvil turned back around, reaching up to tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Because your reactions are adorable,” he replied teasingly. “Because you’re adorable.”

Daisy grunted and peeked between her fingers to look down at him. With a sigh, she removed her hands from her face and playfully flicked Arvil’s forehead before grabbing her food.
“Such a jerk,” she murmured, though she didn’t mean it.
Arvil smirked at her, rubbing his forehead before he snatched her hand, pressing it to his mouth. “But you love this jerk, don’t you?” He cooed teasingly.

Daisy huffed, her cheeks turning pink again. “You just never stop, do you?” she sighed, trying to pull her hand from his grip so she could grab her food again. “You do realize that you’re preventing me from eating, don’t you? Do you really think it’s a good idea to get between me and my food?”
Arvil grinned at her, letting his grip on her hand loosen. “My bad. Next time, I’ll remember not to get in between you and your beloved food,” he teased her again, pinching her nose. “But the longer you take in eating, the more I can enjoy resting my head on your lap.”
