I suppose I should sleep… Scipio rubbed his eyes and slid down the wall a bit more, nestling himself into the corner. He closed his eyes and ignored his pain, eventually managing to drift off to sleep. Honestly, he was sleeping better in hell than he did in the army, for the most part. Probably because he was alone here and he found comfort in that. No one would try to kill him in his sleep.

(Yep)
(Next day when your boi wakes up?)
(Yeah. Am I starting or you?)
(Could you? Maybe your boi could go looking around for Lucifer?)
(Sure)
Scipio woke up at some point, not really knowing how time worked down here. He was still really sore, but he didn't really care, getting up anyways and going up the stairs. He might as well wander if no one was going to stop him.
The door at the top of the steps was open; Scipio was being checked on and they must have left the door open.
Lucifer was still asleep in his room, but instead he somehow got between the sheets and on his pillows, snoring away on the pillow. He wasn't really the most graceful sleeper, but he sure as hell was the heaviest sleeper.
Scipio wandered for a few minutes until he found a door. He pushed it open and found Lucifer sleeping. This could be fun. He found a chair in the corner of the room and hung upside down from it, deciding that he'd just wait for Lucifer to wake up so he could see his reaction. He yawned a bit, his hair hanging above his head from being upside down.
Lucifer slept on for an undetermined amount of time, before rolling over in his bed, blinking open his pointed eyes slowly. He sat up and rubbed his face, yawning and stretching out, turning himself to stand before he was graced with an eye-full of human sitting stupidly in his chair.
"What the fuck are you doing?" He spat, standing from his bed, his clothes cascading to the ground from his movement.
"Oh good, you're awake." Scipio grinned, flipping around so he was upright. "I got pretty bored down there all by myself, and your lovely subjects kindly left the door open so I could explore. Don't worry, I haven't broken anything." He crossed his legs and folded his hands neatly in his lap.
Lucifer growled and crossed his room, seizing the human by his throat and dragging him to the door personally, tossing him casually into the opposite hallway wall.
"Stay out of my room," He growled in his deep voice, slamming the door so hard that one of the servants came rushing up, their face flushed.
"Human!" They exclaimed when they saw Scipio. "Why are you up here? Did you go into sir Lucifer's room?"
"Yeah, why shouldn't I?" Scipio grinned a bit as they dragged him back to the basement. "Well, it isn't my fault you left the door open! Y'all aren't any fun…" He huffed and sat against the wall again, humming to amuse himself. His wound was starting to heal by now, but it still hurt. What am I supposed to do all day?
The door shut and locked, just as Lucifer was raging to his servants in the family room, still in his robe. But that didn't take away from the incredibly intimidating, looming figure of Lucifer, his angry eyes which gleamed a bright red as he glared down at the people of his misfortune. Not to mention he was yelling at them in a Demon's language.
Once Lucifer had finished chewing them out, he whipped his robe sassily before stalking off to his room again, growling for them not to disturb him.
"I can hear you yelling from here, Lucy. What're you so upset about, hmm?" Scipio hit his head back against the wall repeatedly, very bored. Maybe he could just talk to Lucifer; that was always interesting, even if Lucifer was annoyed. Honestly, irritating people was probably his second favorite thing to do after scaring or intimidating them, and he figured he wasn't going to be able to scare Lucifer very easily. That man had seen some shit.
Lucifer growled loudly and flopped onto his bed. His servants had listened to his order to not make Scipio able to be heard, so the human's voice bounced back to him as if he were in a very echoed room. It was quite odd.
But at least Lucifer was able to be by himself in his head as he relaxed in his bed, curling up with an angry shake of his head. People were just stupid.
"Hmm… strange." Scipio started rambling to himself in Italian to hear the echo, grinning to himself. He started singing an Italian folk song classically sung in a round, using his strange echo to pull it off. At the very least, he'd found something remotely interesting to do. It'll honestly kinda suck when he lets me talk to him again; this is a pretty good way to amuse myself. He surprisingly actually had a pretty nice voice. He seemed to be a baritone or tenor, but he could hit some bass notes comfortably. Wonder if Lucy sings?
Lucifer yawned slowly and relaxed again, feeling at ease now that he wasn't being watched by that creep of a human. He almost dozed, but was interrupted by a small knock.
"Er… the human is singing, sir. We don't want to go down and give him food. He's kind of scaring us," mumbled a small voice behind the door. Lucifer sighed loudly and stood up, striding the room in a couple paces and ripping open the door.
"I'll bring it to him. I want you to leave me alone for the rest of the day. I'll take care of that stupid human."
Scipio heard the door opening and kept singing, assuming it was just a servant again. He was amused by them being intimidated; it meant he at least had some power here. He fell quiet when he saw Lucifer instead of a servant, the last of his voice echoing off the walls. "Lucy? What're you doing down here?" He asked curiously. "Don't you have like, servants for this?"
Lucifer moved down the steps, his bare feet making the hard wood creak as he moved down slowly, his eyes squinted as he glared at the other.
"Uh-huh. I do. I wanted to drop this food off myself, and tell you to shut your trap. No one can hear you." He set a plate of harmless mashed potatoes down. He had a pretty good idea as to what humans should and should not eat.
"If no one can hear me, why do I have to be quiet? It keeps me occupied. There's no people here to toy around with, you know." Scipio watched Lucifer as the other moved around the room. It was clear that he mostly saw people as pawns or objects that he could do what he pleased with. They were expendable; unimportant. "And why couldn't your servants just tell me to shut up? I'm starting to think you just like seeing me~" Scipio grinned sarcastically to himself.
"Just eat your food, human," Lucifer growled down at him, not in the mood to deal with the other's antics as he crossed the room and back up the steps. He opened the door, slammed it shut once he walked through it without looking back at Scipio, clearly not giving one single damn about the young male anymore. He couldn't wait to rid himself of the other so he could move on to more sophisticated serial killers. However something deep within Lucifer wanted to keep him around.
Scipio lay down and ate his mashed potatoes. "Aww they're not even salteddd… eh, I was in the army. I've had worse." He shrugged and finished them, knowing he'd need food if he were to survive here. He started singing in Italian again, but this time it was a soft, slow song that didn't sound scary. It sounded almost like the dynamic of a love song. It was, of course, but he wasn't singing it to anyone in particular. He didn't even know the song in English.
Lucifer ignored the whining of the human as he stalked back to his room and leaning against the door. Something told him this day was going to be particularly bad. It might've been his already-sour mood, and his annoyance with his insolent servants. They had no excuse to be as annoying as they were, but there they were, being a goddamn thorn in his side. Lucifer leaned off the door and sunk down into his chair, shaking his head slowly and grumbling to himself.
"Hey, my voice isn't echoing anymore… Lucy! Can you hear me?" Scipio glanced around the room as he waited for a response. He decided that he'd wait a few minutes and then return to what he was doing. He knew he'd be pretty bored of waiting in silence after five minutes. He sat back against the wall and fidgeted with his hands.
There was no response. Lucifer didn't bother to answer the small voice of the human in the back of his mind, just shaking his head frostily.
"Humans are so annoying," He commented to himself, "actually, I take that back. Everyone but me is annoying."
"Hello?" Scipio asked quietly. No response… He fell silent for a while before continuing his soft singing of the Italian love song, again not sung for anyone in particular. Wonder if he can hear my singing too?He kept going, waiting for Lucifer to mentally yell at him to shut up, or anything. He'd be happy with any response at all.
Lucifer nodded to himself, agreeing softly. He crossed one leg over the other, his gaze hardening into a glare at the singing. It was nice, but not want he wanted to hear. He wasn't really the biggest fan of music, especially in a human tongue. But he was too tired to chew out the human. It was honestly sad how quick he had been burned out by the Italian.
If he can, he's not telling me to stop… Scipio kept going, the Italian words rolling far more smoothly and naturally off his tongue than anything he could say in English. It was clear that it was his first language. Scipio sighed softly when the song was done, drawing his knees up to his chest. He was really bored now. He only knew so many songs he could sing.
Lucifer rubbed his face, shaking his head. He stopped when the human stopped singing, sighing in relief and relaxing into his chair again. Hopefully that would be all he would hear from him, because Lucifer just wanted a day in blissful silence. He stood and grabbed a few things before going back into his springs room and stepping down into the steaming, hot water.
