Scipio lay back on the floor, tapping his hands on his chest to some rhythm. It wasn't just boring down here. It was lonely. Although he'd likely end up killing a roommate, it'd be nice to have someone to talk to for a while. He could tell that Lucifer just didn't want to talk to him, which was fair, but still made everything more boring.

Lucifer's eyes popped open as he felt something brush his chest. It was a small flower that had made its way into his pool. He picked it up and curiously sniffed it, smiling a little at the sweet smell of the center of the pink petals. He rose a hand from the hot water to gently stroke the soft petals, setting it down next to him to continue drifting around, watching it like an amused child.

@Fraust

What other Italian songs do I know…? Scipio thought for a moment before starting to sing a lullaby he'd heard sung to children in Italy. It wasn't one that his parents had ever sung to him, since he was pretty much self sufficient by the very earliest possible time and they'd never bothered to love him how most children were loved, but it was one he knew nonetheless.

Lucifer scoffed at Scipio's thoughts, rolling his eyes. "What a jackass," He mentioned to the flower, who just continued to float around. "No, I don't like him. He's too stuck up his ass to even realize what's wrong with himself. It's pathetic." He leaned back and shut his eyes again with a slow shake of his head. "I don't even know why he bothers."

@Fraust

Scipio had convinced himself over the years that he didn't care that his parents never loved him. Who cared, right? That was probably the first lie he consistently told himself, over and over, until he decided in his mind that it was the truth. It did honestly bother him a bit, though. It could've been that which made it so hard to empathize or sympathize with others, since he'd never been taught. Love was something he didn't truly understand, as no one had loved him, and he in turn had never loved. His voice wavered and faded away as he lapsed into these thoughts and continued trying to lie to himself.

"Uuuughhhh he's making me miserable," Lucifer groaned pathetically, dipping under the surface of the water and scratching his dark hair rather hard to try and dislodge the human's negative thoughts. It, of course, didn't work (because that's not how mind reading works), but Lucifer certainly wished it did. He reemerged after a few minutes of trying to drown himself and failing, groaning up to the ceiling in annoyance.

@Fraust

Scipio drew his knees up to his chest again and lay his head on them. At least he'll like me being quiet… He thought to himself, tapping one foot anxiously. I don't have time for these stupid negative feelings… why can't I just get my emotions to fade entirely like I've been trying for years? He sighed softly, running one hand through his hair.

"That's not how emotions work, you stupid fool!" Lucifer growled up, shaking his head violently. "That idiot. That dumb idiot. I swear I'll fucking kill him and enjoy the shit out of it if it means I get peace-of-mind. I want to relax, not be shown up by a seventeen-year-old human!" He smacked the water with much force, still shaking his head.

@Fraust

Scipio couldn't hear Lucifer, of course, and just stayed silent. Out loud, at least. He couldn't stop his thoughts. He hummed quietly to himself, crossing his arms on top of his knees and hiding his face in them. He always hated when he felt depressed like this. He typically got mopey when he was bored and alone.

(Alrighty what now?)

@Fraust

(Hhh idk Lucifer is kinda avoiding Scipio and Scipio can't escape, so it's hard for them to interact)

(Yea that was kind of my point lmao but I didn't realize Scipio wouldn't try anything else.)

@Fraust

(I mean, he's locked in now. He can't get out. Earlier the door was open)

(-.- yes that was my point. I mean bother him by his thoughts or something.)

@Fraust

(Yeah. He tried that for a while, but Lucifer was ignoring him, so he gave up)

@Fraust

(Hello?)

@Fraust

(Hhhh)

@Fraust

Lucifer had woken up a few hours later, in his hot pool of steaming water, bringing his head up from where it had lolled onto his shoulder with a yawn. Apparently he had fallen asleep after being so grumpy. He wasn't really a morning person. He stood out of his hot tub and stretched his back slowly, then put on his robe, stalking out of his room. He didn't find any of his servants, so to ease his boredom which had quickly bore down on him, he walked down into the basement with his arms crossed.
"So, you're not dead yet."

@Fraust

"Still ticking, Lucy…" Scipio said tiredly, looking up as Lucifer entered the room. He stayed on the ground where he was, humming quietly to himself to distract himself from everything. "Why are you wasting your time here with me, though?"

"I got bored," The man answered as he walked over to stand next to the human, glaring down at him. "Honestly, I'm not even sure why I'm keeping you here. I guess it wouldn't be as satisfying just to kill you, huh? You've killed so many people, you don't even deserve death."

@Fraust

Scipio shrugged. "Hey, when a psychopath like me gets bored, they join the army to see what murder feels like, gets addicted to it, and eventually gets hung. That's just how it is, Lucy. Well, I think so anyways. I don't often talk to other people."

"Mhm. So you joined some army and got to shed some blood. Surely that would be enough for some people, am I right on assuming that?" He had heard a lot of stories similar to this, but why did this one case make him so interested?

@Fraust

He nodded. "But battles didn't really happen every day, you know? I get bored easily… I started killing people from my own side. Sometimes not even with a gun. Honestly, I probably could've been more careful with that last one…"

"Yeah I think they killed you a little," Lucifer just responded dully. "Well, I'm not letting you join my people. They're a peaceful type and they deserve to be protected. So if you have any ideas as to where you want me to put you, that'd be great."

@Fraust

"Oh, I dunno. I haven't done much research on the ranks available in hell. Not many books in the army, see?" Scipio grinned a bit, laying his head back on the wall. "But yeah, no clue. My soul's pretty rotten."

"No, there's no ranks. It's just me and my people. And my fuckin' servants– wait, you can be one of my servants! If you kill them, it literally won't matter, they'll respawn." He grinned evilly. He only did this to the most evil of people. And Scipio seemed to fit the shoes quite well.

@Fraust

"Wonderful. Then I can respawn too! Like a video game, but you're literally in hell. Do I need to fill out an application? Get a uniform?" Scipio supported his head with one hand.

"No, you don't respawn, and it's not a video game you absolute buffoon. It's only to keep you bored when you're here, and working while you're at it. No, you just need some servants to get you less shit clothes." He grabbed Scipio by the scruff of his neck and dragged him up the steps and to the servants' room.

@Fraust

"Ow. I can walk, you know." Scipio huffed, but let himself get dragged away. "But if your servants respawn, and I'm going to be one of your servants, why won't I respawn? What would even happen to me at that point?"
