The class made an ooo sound like when someone burns someone else. “You know you didn’t have to do all that right?” Nick asked.

"Do all what?" Lucas asked once the teacher had left, a vague smirk on his face. He wasn't used to getting this kind of attention from his classmates, but it was a hell of a lot better than the bullying.
“I mean you didn’t have to like defend me and all,” Nick scratched the back of his neck. “Thank you for doing that though.”
"You looked upset. Of course I'm gonna defend you." He kissed Nick's cheek sweetly and drummed his fingers on the desk, wondering if their teacher would return.
“Well, it already first block and this has happened. Gym is going to be a bitch,” he sighed. “I wanna go home and love you. I always want to stay here though…”
"Ugh… I hate gym. If you don't wanna participate, maybe they'll let me sit with you."
“No can do you have to work extra hard because I’m not there to push you. Got it? Don’t do it because it’s required. Do it for me,” Nick kissed his cheek. “Okay?”
Lucas sighed reluctantly. "Fine, fine… but don't blame me if I pass out or something."
“Well, if you pass out how will I survive on my own,” He laid his head down on the desk.
"I'm sure you'd be okay, but I can't control whether I pass out or not, love."
“I know,” he laughed. “Love you,” Nick blew an air kiss.
Lucas rolled his eyes, blushing a bit. "Love you too, ya dork. Do you think Mr. (Name) is coming back?"
“I don’t know, does that mean I get to make out with my boyfriend…” he came closer. “I think it does,” he whispered. Nick connected their lips and smiled.
"Love, we're in public…" Lucas replied, blushing and pulling away after a second or two. "We can't do anything too crazy."
“Well, everyone is a little preoccupied with making out, so no one with pay attention.” Nick smirked and kissed his lips again. His hands moved around his face trying to memorize where everything was.
Lucas glanced around at his classmates nervously. None of them were paying attention, of course, but such invasive public displays of affection still made him anxious. After several seconds of hesitation, he allowed it.
Nick smiled and kissed him again and again and again. “Watch the teacher walk in,” he joked and pressed his lips against his.
"Yeah…" Lucas returned the kiss, still tapping one foot on the ground anxiously.
The teacher walked in and slammed a book on his desk. Everyone shot up and went back to their seats. Nick sat back in his chair and sighed. "Fun time is over I guess."
Lucas nodded, blushing and not making eye contact with the teacher. He wondered if he would bother to address them.
"Back to learning class," he started to teach again, glaring at both Nick and Lucas. Once class was over Nick waited for Lucas to pack up his stuff. "First block dine. 7 more to go!"
"Yep." Lucas stood up and gathered his things, wondering what the principal had said to the teacher. He took Nick's hand and led him out of the room.
"Gym here we come!" Nick laughed. "Today, you will climb the rope and ring the bell. I will not take no for an answer."
"I'll try my best, love, but I can't guarantee that I'm physically capable of doing that." Lucas sighed.
"Well, try, I know you can do it," he kissed his cheek and leaned on his shoulder. "Hey Lucas guess what?"
"What is it, Nick?" Lucas looked over at him as they walked.
Nick cam close to his ear. "I love you," he whispered. "Anyway, are we going to my place after school?"
Lucas blushed, kissing Nick sweetly. "You're such a dork… but you're my dork. And yeah, considering we live there, I figured that was where we were headed."
"I am not a dork! I can't say 'I love you' to by boyfriend?" Nick shook his head. "So rude…"
"It's just the way you said it! Like, guess what? Then you tell me something I already know full well like it's some big secret." Lucas kissed Nick again, grinning.
