Lucas sat beside Nick as they played video games. He wasn't particularly good, considering he didn't actually own any games himself, but he was trying.

Nick laughed and shook his head, "Here let me teach you a combo or two…" He moved and sat behind Lucas as he put his hands around the others, "Up, up, A, A, X. This will help you create a powerful attack that will knock off half of my heath," he smiled as health went down, "Now try it on your own."

Lucas's face flushed a bit, but he pressed a few buttons as he attempted to recreate the combo. "Up, A, A, X? No… I-I'm forgetting something…" He mumbled to himself, looking down at the controller with a confused expression.

"Two Ups you only did one," He laughed leaning back against the wall behind him. "You'll get it just try again."

"S-Sorry… I'm really bad at this." Lucas laughed quietly, trying again. "I don't play a lot of video games."

"It's all right I don't mind if you want to stop," he said softly as he rested his head on Lucas's shoulder.

Lucas blushed harder, keeping his eyes fixed on the game. "I can… it's okay… I-I'll figure it out…"

He smiled at his determination, "Take deep breaths and remember what I said the combo was alright?"

Lucas ignored the first part of his advice, holding his breath as he tried it again, doing it properly this time. "Did I… did I do it?"

(I'm sorry I was laughing really hard because I was read this Manga and one guy is in crutches and he asked, "Why are we dressed like this?" and the other guy said, "Can't you tell? It's a Hiking date." I'm sitting here like what the fuck is wrong with you while laughing)
He chuckled, "You did it!" he smiled getting off the bed and standing in front of Lucas. "What else shall we do? Also, dude, wanna stay at mine tonight?" See they sleep over at each others house it's not normal anymore.

"Oh! Um, s-sure!" Lucas grinned. My dad's probably drunk and he also doesn't give a shit about my whereabouts, so no need to text him. "We could… we could get snacks?" He suggested, unsure what people did at sleepovers. It'll be a hell of a lot better than my place.

"Alright then snacks and movies it is, "I'm going to run to the store wanna come with or are you going to stay here?" he asked slipping on his shoes.

"I can come along." Lucas pulled on his shoes as well and stood up, following Nick out to his car.

Nick got in the driver's seat while the other got In the passenger side, "Alright what snacks and movies are we thinking?"

"Um… fudge stripes and kettle corn?" Lucas suggested nervously, buckling himself in. "Sorry, I haven't had anything sweet for a while." He laughed a bit, looking out the window.

“That’s okay I mean to be honest I was planning on getting sixteen things because I love junk food.” He turning into the driveway that was next to the corner store. He parked and got out of the car along with Lucas.

Lucas went into the store with Nick. The look in his eyes was quite reminiscent of a child in a candy store. He hadn't been allowed real food in a while.

"So, how is your brother doing?" he asked taking a couple of cans of Pringles from the shelf. Nick also took some cup noodles and chips then he placed them in the cart.

Lucas went quite pale, but cleared his throat. "H-He's… Um… He's fine?" He said weakly, picking up fudge stripes.

(Oops I had no fucking clue so neither does he XD)
"That's good…" he trs]ailed off while he reached for the sour patch kids and other candy, "Want anything else?" He asked remembering the soda.

"I'm… n-no thanks…" Lucas's heart was pounding, and he felt pretty guilty for lying, but he could tell Nick later when they weren't in a public place.

"Alright then," he smiled and handed everything over giving his credit card to the clerk. He held the bags as they walked to the car. He started the car and drove off.
