Hi sorry eyes widened and he laughed a bit “wait, Laura I was joking” he says through small giggles
She looked at him and turned more red. She covered her face and mumbled. "It's hard to tell when you sat it so bluntly!"
group
“That’s the point though!” He says flustered. He cursed his pale skin as his face turned even more red.
She sighed looking up at him. "Well it makes things difficult that's for sure." She gave a soft smile.
group
“Come on, you know I’m not romantic” he says rolling his eyes playfully
"But you sure are a flirt." She poked his nose and pulled him down the stairs.
group
“Hey! Well….okay I can be romantic.” He says pouting like a little puppy
He was always such a hopeless romantic at heart, though he never seemed to get anyone to actually like him.
She glanced over her shoulder and gave him a soft smile. "You sure can Babe." She said standing on the bottom of the steps.
group
He stood on the step above her, looking down at her. "and how would you know? I don't think I've done anything romantic.." He says stepping down to her level, though he was still talked than her
She smiled and looked at him. "You just seem the type, I mean you also told me I was beautiful. I find that romantic." She said pecking his cheek. "Let's go to that library."
group
He tensed up and his face turned even more red. He then followed her to the library.
Gosh, he was so in love.
She made her way to the library, glancing over her shoulder here and there. She came to the large doors, and pushed it open with her free hand. She stepped in and turned to him. "What's your favorite type of book?" She grinned.
group
"Mystery probably" he says looking around. He never actually never went to the library much
She smiled and pulled him along. "What mystery have you read? Sherlock? Murder On The Orient Express?"
group
"Both of those" he smiled a little. "Though I prefer movies" he shrugged
She tapped her chin. "I'm not even gonna ask about Nancy Drew- too girly I'm assuming. Oh!" She exclaimed remembering something. "Have you ever read 'In The Woods' by Tana French?" She smiled.
group
He arched an eyebrow. "Uh….no. I don't believe I have. And yes, I actually have read Nancy Drew. But we don't speak of that" he laughed a bit. "So tell me about 'in the woods'" he smiled
She smiled and started scanning the shelves. "Well, it's about three kids- or sorta. These kids are normal, and play games like usual. Until two of the three kids go missing, they're never found so assumed dead. Two decades later another girl is found dead in the woods." She started glancing at him, still scanning the shelves. "The thing is, they get a detective for the case- it being the third kid who managed to survive whatever fate his friends didn't. Him and his partner try to figure out who would want to kill a pret-teen girl." She said smiling as she pulled it off the shelf. "I found it interesting, you may not, but it's worth a shot."
group
He sat down in a seat, thought backwards as his arms rested on the back.of the chair, his chin resting on his arms and his wide blue eyes looking up at her. The light shown through the sister library windows so perfectly, hitting her with gracefullness and beauty.
"No, no, that sounds really good. May I?"
She smiled and slid the book over to him from across the table. "Be my guest! I'm gonna go look for something for me." She said skipping over to the romance section. She probably wouldn't admit it, but she was a sucker for a sweet or seductive romance. Either was something she enjoyed.
group
He set it aside and went up to her shen he noticed she was going to the romance section. "What're you looking for? I might be able to help in this section" he says in a hushed voice. It was a library after all.
She flinched and turned around with a mad blush. "I- er… I was just- looking for nothing… in particular." She stuttered at getting caught.
group
"Really? Your actions say otherwise" he bent down a smidge to her hight, his blue eyes glinting in the dim room, seeming to be almost glowing
She watched him for a second, and looked away nervously. "I- just was, you know, looking for something different." She said softly trying to avoid those striking eyes.
group
"Well if that's the case. This is good" he reached tall and handed her a book. "Loreleis Reaper.' It's a good romance novel. Make your heart break though." He says with a smile. "Though if you want light hearted…hm lemme find one" he says scanning the higher shelves.
He seemed pretty educated on all of these romance novels. Almost like he read them all the time. Which…of course…was totally not what he does. At all… 0-0
She bit her lip at the strain shown in his arm. She was already flustered as is, this wasn't helping in the slightest. She held the book carefully in her hands and watched him scan the shelves. "You read romance?" She asked softly reading the summary on the back.
group
"Why of course" he says proudly, though he was a bit embarrassed. He wasn't going to show it though.
She nodded and focused on the cover. "You w-wouldn't happen to know anything… more- adult-ish would you?" She asked not able to hide her own embarrassment. She avoiding looking at him or anyone else for that matter. She didn't want to seem inappropriate, but she sorta was craving one.
group
He smiled and chuckled a little. "Why of course. Every romance fan knows where those are." He rounded a bookshelf to the very back. The mature section. And up. He didn't read these a ton, but every now and then he had a craving. He was more weak for fluff than anything.
"Here you go. Though, I didn't expect you to be interested in these" he says ruffling her hair
She took one and looked up at him clearly embarrassed. "Well you know- just feeling it is all." She said tucking hair behind her ear.
