Soon enough Jackson came out wanting to find Regina and give her some pointers on what to do around. They needed a new nurse so he might give her the job. He wasn't quite sure though.
Really in the mood for another pirate rp (Closed, one-on-one)
Regina continued wandering around the ship, not talking to any of the other crew members and instead studying where everything was.
"Regina?" Jackson asked looking for the new addition. "I've got a job for you."
She turned around when she heard her name, facing Jackson, "Yes?" She replied, making her way over to him.
"You good at being a nurse?" He asked, knowing that he can't keep being a double as a nurse and captain.
Regina nodded, "I think I am, that's what I was on the other ship." She took out a roll of bandages she still had from the fight and held them up, "Is that my new job?"
"only if you want it. I don't force things upon people." Jackson said, looking at the bandages.
"I'll take it," She said, nodding once again and slipping the bandages back away.
"Okay, you can go check and see if there is anyone in the infirmary." He said, pointing to the door on the left of her.
She nodded one more time before heading to the door he had motioned to and peeking inside, taking a few careful steps into the infirmary and looking around.
There was one younger man, not so badly cut up. "I take it that your the new nurse."
"That I am," She replied, looking around for more supplies before making her way closer to him, "And I take it that you're hurt?"
"Just a few cuts. Nothing I can't handle." He said, "We must've got you off of that ship."
Regina nodded, "I was traded," She eventually found some more bandages and walked over to him, motioning for him to show her the cuts.
"You'll make a great addition to the family." He smiled at her, lifting his shirt lightly, showing his stomach. "Jackson's really go an eye for you."
Her face flushed slightly when he said that and she shook her head, "I don't think so, he just needed a nurse for the crew." She took the bandages and after cleaning the cuts, started wrapping them.
"Not trying to be rude but why would he pick you? Off of that ship….It's because you caught his eye." The kid pointed out, "Call me Green."
"To counter you Green, why would I catch his eye?" She replied, glancing up at him before tying the last bandage off, "All finished."
"You might want to ask him, he hasn't told me yet." Green said, "Thanks."
Regina nodded, turning and putting the bandages away, knowing fully well she wasn't going to ask him why she caught his eye. "No problem, now don't get hurt anymore."
'No promises." He said, putting his shirt back down, "Thanks again."
A faint smile appeared on her face and she nodded again, "No problem, Green."
Jackson came in as Green left, "You getting familiar with the place?"
"Yeah, trying to figure out where everything is," She replied, glancing at him as he came in before going back to her searching an finding.
"I can help. I used to do the medical stuff." Jackson, stepping closer to her. "You must've met Green I see."
Regina nodded, "Yup, we talked and I patched him up." She turned to face him, "Aren't all the supplies in the same place? All I've found so far are the bandages."
"I mean our ship is different than your old one." He nodded at her, "I had to put things in different spots because we used to have few thieves on board. What did you two talk about?"
"Why you wanted me to come aboard," She said, her face flushing slightly, "WOuld you mind showing me where everything is since it's not together?"
"Yeah." He said, walking to the cabinet with the meds. "Here's where the meds are kept." He then went to the shelf above the sink, "This is where you will find the needles and syringes. Your face is a little red. You okay?"
Her face flushed more when he mentioned the blush and she nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine." She made a note of where all the supplies were.
