Revolutionary War Roleplay! [CLOSED]

Looking for 1 or 2 people!

• historical fiction of America's founding (think Hamilton)
• you dont need to be a history expert, but some things i'll write down for you to keep in mind about the time period
• dont need to religiously follow historical events. Get creative! :)
• Can make your own spinoff character of a founding father
• give them your own story/persona!
  -build plot as we go

RULES

• Obviously, no explicit content (violence IS aloud, just nothing sexual)
• frick fracking can be implied, but not described. If characters start getting frisky, just skip time.
• please don't ignore the ither roleplayers! The story can't progress that way :(
• dont be super dramatic. Don't kill your character 45 times and resurrect them and make them a god. Just… dont. No resurrections ":/
• have fun!

HISTORICAL TIPS

• unfortunately, the Women's Rights movement has a long time til it actually occurs. Thus, women are not taken very seriously and are rigorously oppressed (except for the rare few of men who respect them. John Adams was one of these!)
• Gentle reminder that there is no electricity. (This is the late 1700s)
• Sodomy (homosexuality) is illegal and punishable by death, but was still VERY abundant.

Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pansexual (not sure if ppl were supposed to keep it a secret but if you were supposed to do then he does)
Hobbies: Reading, drawing, designing random stuff, writing
Personality: Kelton is a typically detached individual that enjoys acting cold rather than letting people get close to him due to the past that he has had. Once friends with him, however, he can become warmer and less cold and is very protective of his friends due to not wanting to lose someone that somehow managed to break down the walls that he'd built. He is a leader-like person that will take the chance to lead people when the opportunity is given, his bravery typically exceeding most. His personality can change when he is put into a dangerous situation whereby he has to take charge in order to overcome the enemy, not having a problem with sacrificing people when it's needed. While this isn't a typical personality attribute of Khione children, his mother had taught to him that the victory of a task is all that needs to be achieved.
Habits / Idiosyncrasies / Quirks: When he is nervous, typically scratches his ring finger's base with his thumb. He also chews on his bottom or top lip when he becomes extremely focused on something, such as creating an item or writing something that is important to him.

Eye Color: Kelton has dark blue eyes with edges of emerald green, which he inherited from his father.
Hair Color: Kelton has naturally dirty blond hair, but dyes it black due to disliking how much of a generic white boy he looks. He also just dislikes his blonde hair, a lot.
General Features: Kelton is typically remarked for how his dark blue eyes contrast with his black hair, along with the emerald green edging around them. He has a small scar on his right cheek directly on the cheekbone from a fight that occurred in sixth grade

Jonathan André knocked on the door of a civillian. Rain was falling heavy, soaked his blood red coat. As a lieutenant there was nothing as shameful as begging for food– but the pickings were harsh. Flour and water did nothing for the soldiers.

Kelton groaned when he heard a knock on his door and walked to his door, grumbling something mean under his breath. He opened the door and glanced at the man. "What do you want?" He asked. He had been in the middle of reading and the book was interesting for once.

John brushed strands of soaked hair off his forehead, removing the tricorn hat. "Sorry to bother you, sir," he spoke. There was a slight shiver in his voice from the chill of being absoluely sodden. "My men and I need food. Can you spare anything?"

"I barely have enough food for myself, how do you except me to have food for you and your men?" Kelton asked coldly. Of course I don't, it's because everyone else eats it and gives me barely anything. It was evident that what he said was true, he was mostly skin and bones.

The man's lip twitched. He hid it by wiping raindrops off his face. "Sorry for the inconvenience," he exhaled.

"It's fine." Kelton mumbled quietly, looking around awkwardly. He slowly started to shut the door to see if the man needed anything else or not, it was something he often did.

André let the door shut in his face. Shoving off his disappointment for later, he stepped off the doorstep back into the pouring rain. The door to a cobble townhouse across the brick-laden street swung open to the face of an angry man. André and his men were primed to be on constant lookout for loyalist assault, but this felt too much of a perfectly aggravating coincedence.

"Go back to England, bloodyback!" The man cursed him. His family must be watching, André figured. Most of them would try to assault, even tar and feather. Barbarians to him.

"Go back to your dinner," John hissed impatiently. In response, he got conked in the head with an apple.

Sexuality: very confused. Has had crushes on people of multiple genders, but has no idea how to deal with it
Appearance: Dark brown hair, almost black, thick and in subtle waves. Sweeps over his forehead, curls around his ears, relatively short. Olive skin, very faint freckles all over his body, dark eyes, thick lashes. Average height, subtly muscled, generally average build.
Personality: Can tilt towards the more introverted side of the spectrum (until angered, that is. He as one hell of a temper), thoughtful, careful with his words (usually), good liar, strong moral code, generally open-minded, knows when to shut up.
Hobbies: sketching, watercolour painting, chess, things that involve the mind, running
Other: Mixed French and English descent, a soldier. Rebel.
