ROMANCE ANYONE?

Dan started feeling a bit weak after a short time and his arms loosened against Arien. He sighed softly feeling exhausted and light headed.

Arien pulled away. He still hadn't taken enough, it was obvious, but he stopped.
"No more," he said softly, cupping Dan's cheek.

“Mmm but you need more.” He slurred looking absolutely awful from all the blood Arien had taken.

"You need it too," Arien argued. He pulled Dan against his chest, leaning against the wall.

“I’m fine, just tired.” He whispered and smiled weakly, “what happened?”

"He was trying to say he had done nothing wrong, that I had stopped him from killing you. Fists were through, and then the fight broke out. I won, by the way." Arien held Dan close.
"And your not just tired…"

“Is he dead? And I’ll be fine. I’m going to sleep I think.” He whispered and cuddled slightly.

"He is. And please… You need to get to the hospital…" Arien tried to stand.

Dan nodded softly and closed his eyes exhausted, “ambulance, phone in pocket.” He was able to say as clearly as he could.

Arien say back down, grabbing the phone carefully. He called 911, then let the phone drop and held Dan close.
"Stay awake," he insisted.

Dan opened his eyes and looked at him, “‘m tired though. Can I nap a bit?” He asked slightly slurred.

"Nooo," Arien said, mumbling and slow. "I don't want you to die…"

“Won’t die, it’s just sleep.” He laughed a bit.
The emergency services were on their way immediately.

"But what if you don't wake up? Dan, don't go to sleep…" Arien buried his head in Dan's shoulder.

“Alright… how are you?” He sighed softly.

"I'm doing better now. But I want you to be better too…" He held Dan close.

“Alright.” He nodded slightly.

Eventually, the ambulance arrived. They tried to seperate Dan and Arien, but Arien held on. He wanted to stay with Dan.

They ended up letting him stay and got them to the hospital.

Arien stayed close to Dan the entire time.
"How you doing?" He asked quietly.

Dan just mumbled something that was unclear, he was kinda out of it at this point and basically forcing himself to stay awake.

Arien sided, kissing Dan's cheek.
"Now you can sleep," he said gently.

Dan nodded softly and almost instantly just fell asleep.

Arien fell asleep as well.

Dan woke up a day or two later and looked around the hospital room.

Arien was sitting next to the bed, looking at Dan.
"You're awake," he said, smiling happily.

“Yeah.” He smiled, “and you’re alright.”

"Of course I am," Arien said, getting up to hug Dan. "You saved me."

Dan hugged him back, “I wouldn’t let you die.”

Arien held Dan close.
"Thank you…"
