ROMANCE ANYONE?

"Oh wow. I'm comfortable using substatutes for dairy, but ice cream truly has no comparison." Arien smiled. He was being quite polite.

Ben nodded and they were soon enough at the grocery store without even realizing it. "Well you have a nice day with your hot chocolate."

"You have a good day too." Arien grinned at Dan, then made his way over to the butcher's section to procure himself some pig's blood.

Dan went off and started working. He went to the back then to a cash register and started.

Arien was dead asleep on his couch, snoring a little with a half-cup of his special made hot chocolate resting on the table. He'd asked Dan to come over again, seeing as he had to eat every night, but he had stayed up too long watching television. The door was unlocked, though, so Dan could easily get in.

Dan got out of work then came straight (ha) to Arien's house. He knocked at first then went in though felt weird just going inside.

Arien was curled up, for once not looking like a vampire. He awoke after he smelled Dan though, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
"Good evening," he said, obviously sleepy.

"Evening." Dan nodded and walked over then sat next to Arien. "sleep well?"

Arien nodded. He picked up his hot chocolate and took a drink before setting it back down in disgust.
"Yeah," he said. "Stayed up too late watching television, though." He shrugged, smiling. "How was your day?"

"Boring, just working all day. Your hot chocolate cold?"

Arien nodded.
"Cold blood is disgusting," he admitted. He shrugged, pulling his legs up onto the couch again.
"Thanks for coming over."

"No problem, and anything that is supposed to be warm is bad cold." Dan nodded and yawned, "So what did you watch?"

"Vampire Diaries." Arien snorted. "I get a kick out of it." He chuckled a bit more.
"What kinds of shows do you watch?"

Dan nodded and smiled, "Um, I like watching some superhero and cartoon shows. When I'm bored I watch cooking shows. "

Arien listened quietly, enjoying getting to know Dan.
"Interesting." He yawned a little.
"Is it.. is it alright for me to eat right now? You don't have to leave after if you don't want to."

"Yeah it's fine, and I could stay for a little while." Dan nodded.

"Thank you," Arien said with a sleepy smile. He leaned over, biting Dan's neck lightly.

Dan stayed relaxed as Arien drank his blood. Though it was still weird.

Arien pulled away after a moment, happy.
"Thanks," he said, giving a sleepy smile. "And not just for this."

Dan nodded then leaned against him a bit as he got himself feeling better again.

Arien was a bit surprised when Dan leaned against him, but he wasn't upset by it.
"So many of my old friends, when they tied with a human, had to fight and beg to eat," he continued. "I'm glad you're not like that."

"Mm, you seem nice enough. Plus can't you suck someone's blood even without asking?" He asked then looked at him.

"Normally, yes. However, it's kind of an unspoken rule that you don't force yourself on to a human you're tied to. Doesn't mean there aren't different ways to treat tied, of course," Arien explained shrugging a little with a small smile.

Dan nodded and yawned a bit, "Well I'm glad you're pretty nice. Even though when we formally met you pulled me into an alley way then later on basically kidnapped me."

Arien hesitated, but then he put his arm around Dan to make himself more comfortable.
"Ah, sorry about that. I honestly didn't want to scare you like that."

"Yeah… I was terrified." Dan nodded and sighed and just laid against him still.

Arien sighed a little.
"I truly am sorry. That was wrong of me."

Dan nodded, "Well I forgive you. You've been nice enough since then."

Arien smiled in relief.
"I'm glad. And I try my best." He smiled sweetly, enjoying the fact they were basically cuddling.

Dan smiled, he hadn't really realized or noticed that he was that close to Arien.
