"That's really good," she said, smiling happily as she took a bite, "You deffinetly know good deserts." She took another bite and nodded.
Romance one-on-one
"It's the only thing she'll let me eat of the dessert menu," he said with a laugh "that'll be the last thing you taste for days."
She laughed lightly, "Is there a reason she won't let you eat anything else off the menu?" She asked, continuing to eat the cake.
He shrugged "no Idea, every time I try to order something else, she'll bring me the cake." he said taking abite
"Maybe she knows that it's your favorite," Scarlett said with a shrug, "It tastes amazing so I'm not going to question why she does it."
He nodded, "offering her the last piece and standing "ready?"
"Yup," She said, eating the last piece and standing up as well, "Time to find this ghost pepper so that I can try it," She grinned triumphantly and smiled at him.
He shopkeeper his head and smiled "your going to regret those words," he pulled out his cell phone "hey Keith, it's Jasper, haha nice to see your alive too, do you still have ghost peppers? A friend of mine wants to try,…..yeah I told her she was crazy….no she still want a to try….yes I said she, alright we'll see you in 10 minutes, bye." He turned back to scarlet "ready to make the biggest mistake of your life?"
"I mean, I've already made some major mistakes, what's one more." She grinned and nodded, "Remember, you have to videotape me dying from eating the pepper."
He nodded "phone ready," he stood, ready to leave "let's go." He offered his hand
She took his hand and stood as well, a small smile on her face as she headed to the door, "So, where are we meeting your friend?"
"a few buildings away, I promise it's nothing shady…just sounds that way." he smiled and waved to his cousin
"have fun, you guys!"
She waved to Lindsey as well, smiling at her, "Will do." She called, looking up at him. "Let's go get this pepper."
A few minutes later, they were at the building, a man waiting outside with a smile "Jasper, good to see you!" he let go of scarlet's hand to embrace his friend "Hi Keith, good to see you too. Keith this is Scarlet, Scarlet this is my friend from high school, Keith."
"he nudged Jasper "you never told me she was hot…"
Jasper rolled his eyes "back off, she's taken." he smiled
She laughed and nodded in greeting to Keith, "Nice to meet you." She said, smiling at both of them. "So, you have a ghost pepper?" She asked, rocking on her feet.
Keith nodded "yeah, been trying to get this one to eat but he's stubborn as hell." He waved them inside "come on."
She chuckled lightly, "I'll eat one, Jasper's a chicken." She nudged him in the side before walking inside with a small grin.
He raised his hands and followed "call me what you want but I am not eating that devil made pepper." He said with a smile
She poked him in the side, smiling "Chicken," She bounced on her toes and looked around, excited to try the pepper.

Keith grabbed a chair for Scarlet to sit at and grabbed the pepper out of the fridge, along with a gallon of milk "you're sure you want to do this?" He asked, pointing to where a camera was for Jasper to use

She nodded and sat down on the chair, "So, is there anything I should know before I eat it? How long does it take for the spice to kick in?" Scarlett bounced her leg and smiled at Jasper, excited and slightly nervous.
"Don't know, never tried one." Keith smiled innocently and handed her the pepper along with milk. "remember, the goal isn't to eat the whole thing, just hold out as long as you can." He turned to Jasper "any incentive for her if she lasts?" Jasper shrugged and smiled "maybe." he pressed record "ready when you are."
She laughed and studied the pepper, turning it over in her hands and finally shrugging. She took a small bite of the pepper and chewed it carefully, her face already heating up from the spice. Her tongue felt like it was on fire, but she did her best to seem like it wasn't hot, her bright red face the only sign.
Keith chuckled lightly "there it is…" he shook his head and watched "huh, most people would've drunk the milk by now" Jasper glanced at her in worry "will she be ok?" Keith nodded in reassurance "as long as she's not allergic to peppers, yeah, should be fine."
Her eyes started watering and she looked at the table, coughing lightly. "Hot.." She gasped, coughing again, "That's a little bit hot."
"it's been 30 seconds, "Keith said as he glanced down at his watch. Jasper watched in worry "umm should we help?" Keith shook his head "she'll drink the milk when she feel that she can't handle it."
"Having fun recording?" She joked with a weak smile, her throat burning hot and her voice slightly raspy. She blinked a few times and put her hands in her lap, knowing that she shouldn't touch her eyes. Scarlett looked at the milk and shook her head, determined to not drink any until at least a minute in.
"not as much fun as you are," he smiled and sighed "how long Keith?" He looked down at his watch "1 minute, definitely longer than any other person who's asked to try"
She grinned and looked at the milk, "I suppose..I won't make Jasper wait here any longer." She grabbed the gallon of milk and took a small sip, "Now I see why people drink a gallon," She said, drinking more of it.
