“Any takers?” He asked, watching the majority of the kids chose Scarlet’s song first. Jasper smiled and started playing the disk. He set Lilly down to grab his guitar from the other room as the kids gathered in their respective groups of pitches

@gracehustle

Scarlett let the boy on her back down too and walked over to sit up where Jasper would be. She smiled as the song started playing and easily remembered the words, waiting for the right moment to come in so she could help the kids start learning this song.

@Fenrir

Jasper and the kids listened to the song, trying to familiarize themselves with the rhythm and the words. “I think we may need your help with this one,” he whispered to Scarlet, nodding his head along to the first chorus verse

@gracehustle

"Alright, I'll help you, just let it play through first, then I'll help with words," She said with a small laugh, tapping her foot to the beat and humming along to the song. This was one of her favorites and she knew it word for word, singing it whenever she was crazy happy.

@Fenrir

Jasper nodded and leaned back on the counter, shitting his eyes and waving his hand to the beat, much like a conductor would. He peeked over to Scarlet and grinned, glad to see her happy.

@gracehustle

"Ready to learn the words to the song?" She asked once the song finally came to an end, still smiling brightly as she looked out at the kids. Hopefully they would like this song as much as she did.

@Fenrir

The kids as well as jasper nodded, all eager to learn the song, having liked the song very much. “Trying to take my job, Scar?” He teased as he replayed the song so they couldn’t have the beat

@gracehustle

She winked and grinned, "Hey, gotta move up the ranks eventually." As the song started again, she sang along to the words, making sure the words were clear so they could continue along, "There's no way to say this song's about someone else, Every time you're not in my arms, I start to lose myself."

@Fenrir

He shook his head teasingly as he scooted up on the counter and listened to the song. The kids nodded along as well again, some already catching onto somebody of the lyrics
“Someone please pass me my shades
Don't let 'em see me down

@gracehustle

"You have taken over my days, so tonight I'm going out, yet I'm feeling like, there is no better place than right by your side, I had a little taste," She sang, glancing at Jasper and waving for him to sing along with all of them.

@Fenrir

Jasper grabbed his guitar from behind the counter and and tried to figure out the chord of the song. He nodded and started playing along while singing “And I'll only spoil the party anyway
'Cause all the girls are looking fine
But you're the only one on my mind”
He sang with a bright smile, winking at Scarlet and the kids

@gracehustle

Her smile grew while she sang back with the kids, letting them dominate this part since it was really really simple. "La da dee, La da dee doo, La da da me, La da da you. La da dee, La da dee doo, There's only me, There's only you."

@Fenrir

Jasper continued to play the guitar as the others sang, joking in once the chorus was done.
“All these places packed with people
But your face is all I see
And the music's way too loud
But your voice won't let me be.”

@gracehustle

"So many pretty girls around, they're just dressing to impress, but the thought of you alone has got me spun,and I don't know what to say next," She continued, still teaching the kids the words but getting lost in the words.

@Fenrir

A few of the kids fell quiet, not knowing the words yet while somebody of the older kids who had caught on sang back
“Yet I'm feeling like
There is no better place than right by your side. I had a little taste”

@gracehustle

And I'll only spoil the party anyway, 'Cause all the girls are looking fine, but you're the only one on my mind," She sang, glancing over at Jasper with a smile as she listened to the kids start to catch on to the words. "La da dee, La da dee doo, La da da me, La da da you, La da dee, La da dee doo, there's only me, there's only you."

@Fenrir

Jasper winked and smiled proudly at Scarlet and the kids, glad that they were gaining confidence with the new song
“I pretend the night is so beautiful
Take a photo with the bros
La da dee
La da da doo,”

@gracehustle

"They won't see through my disguise, Right here behind my eyes, Replaying in my mind, La de da," She sang along, closing her eyes and letting the music lead her along with a smile.

@Fenrir

The kids laughed softly and danced around when the chorus came.
“When you were gone I think of you
When you were gone I think of you
I pretend the night is so beautiful”

@gracehustle

"Take a photo with the bros, La da dee, La da da doo, They won't see through my disguise, Right here behind my eyes, Replaying in my mind, La de da." Scarlett pretended to take a picture with the kids, a small laugh breaking her singing before she got back into the rhythm of it.

@Fenrir

"Yet I'm feeling like
There is no better place than right by your side
I had a little taste,"
The kids smiled and pretended to take a picture with Scarlet by making goofy faces. Jas broke his singing to laughed softly at the kids and their theatrics, shaking his head with a fond smile before continuing the song

@gracehustle

"And I'll only spoil the party anyway, 'Cause all the girls are looking fine, But you're the only one on my mind," She sang, looking up at Jassie with a smile as she sang along and taught the kids.

@Fenrir

Jasper paused for dramatic effect along with everyone else before continuing the last chorus verse
“La da dee
La da dee doo
La da da me
La da da you.”

@gracehustle

"La da dee, La da dee doo, There's only me, There's only you," She sang, knowing the song was close to ending but still putting effort into singing and helping the kids learn the song.

@Fenrir

The kids had gotten out of their designated spots to dance around with Scarlet, pulling Jasper down from the counter and begging him to dance along to the last bit of the song.
“La da dee doo, La da da me, La da da you, La da dee, La da dee doo
When you were gone I think of you
When you were gone I think of you”

@gracehustle

Scarlett smiled at the kids and danced over to Jasper, dancing next to him for the last few seconds of the song. "That was fun," She said, taking a deep breath of air and laughing.

@Fenrir

Jasper, as well as the kids, laughed happily and he nodded in agreement "we're definitely doing that one again next class." he said, setting the guitar down to choose the next song. The kids got back into their places and waited excitedly for the next song to come on. "Alright, lets see how you guys feel about this song." He found his bass guitar and pressed play on the record player.
"I don't know what you had in mind
But here we stand on opposing sides…
Let's go to war….
Let's go to war!"

@gracehustle

"We arm ourselves with the wrongs we've done
Name them off one by one
Let's go to war
Let's go to war," The kids sang along, as Scarlett smiled and caught her breath. She wasn't terribly familiar with this song but she could see the kids liked it and some knew it easily. Eventually she would join in, once her lungs agreed at least.

@Fenrir

The older kids took a liking to the song, seeing the meaning behind the song more than the younger kids. He smiled encouraging at the kids and nodded, hoping they'd pick up the beat. "Everything you say
Everything you do. You push it in and you cut me down. And you cut me down."

@gracehustle

"Screaming at the ones we love, Like we forgot who we can trust, Screaming at the top of our lungs, On the grounds where we feel safe, Do we feel safe? Do we feel safe?" They continued, with Scarlett humming along to try to learn the words. She didn't know this song and was excited to learn it though, especially since it seemed so simple.
