She narrowed her eyes at him. "Don't tell me what I don't want."
"It's only your first time, girlie."

"Stop calling me that."
"I'm just saying!" He said, holding his hands up.

She stuck her tongue out, then downed Julie's drink too, ignoring the intense burn in her throat.
"Heyyyy," Julie pouted as her drink was stolen. "That's rude!"
"Slow it down, girlie, you'll regret it in the morning."

"Like hell I will," she shot back, not even registering the curse that fell from her once-pure lips.
Axton blinked a few times, a little shocked.

She arched her eyebrows in almost a challenging way. "What?"
Axton shook his head slightly. "Nothing, girlie." What have I done?

Her eyes quickly narrowed. "I told you to stop calling me that."
"I have nothing else to call you."

"Um, my name," she replied, rolling her eyes like it was obvious.
"Then what is your name, girlie?" He asked. I should at least know who's life I ruined-

"I already told you! It's Trinity."
"You didn't tell me, but good to know."

"Well you never told me your name either."
"Axton."

She melted a little bit. Wow… I love that name. Catching herself, she looked back at Julie, then back to Axton. "Do you know each other?"
Axton gave a slight shrug. "We're regulars. Acquaintances."

"Mhm!" Julie agreed. "Ax helped me overcome my fears, and look at where I am now!"
Trinity turned at Axton with her eyebrows arched. "Oh really?"
Axton pointedly looked down at the bar, trying to avoid her gaze.

"How interesting…" Trinity murmured, tilting her head.
"It's just my line of work." He said, trying to act nocholant.

The angel sniffed. "Line of work… please."
"I'm just trying to get by." He said, trying to get Jimmy's attention to order another drink. "And this job keeps me just floating along."

Julie also motioned for another drink, and Trinity followed her lead. The more, the better. She considered nothing but the present moment.
Axton quickly ordered another drink, giving Jimmy a slight smile.

A new song came on the speakers, and Julie's eyes lit up. "Triny, this is my favorite song! Let's go dance!"
Trinity giggled. "Okay!"
