Melissa sighed weakly, holding herself a little tighter. "And what about me? T-They can fix me?" She asked weakly, staring at him expectantly.

"Yes, they can fix you, Mel. I think that we can get through this together, okay?" He kissed Melissa softly.
Melissa dropped her legs, wrapping her arms around his neck. She pulled him close, not letting go of him. "Y-You promise?"
"Of course, Mel… we're gonna get you fixed right up. We just need you to try your best too, okay?"
Melissa sighed weakly, nodding. She held on even tighter to him. "I-I will… I- I'll try to my best extent."
"Thanks, Mel…" Lucas kissed Melissa softly and held her close. "I love you so much…"
Melissa sighed weakly, leaning into his arms. She grew limp, the tightness of her hug loosening. "And I love you…"
Lucas nuzzled against Melissa a bit and sighed. "Mm… what time is it?" He asked softly.
"I have no clue." Melissa whispered, a weak smile tugging at her lips. "Can we cuddle, though?"
"Sure, if you want to." Lucas hummed softly to himself as he huddled closer. "We should probably go to the couch or a bed, though."
"Probably…" Melissa sighed, nuzzling into his shoulder. "But I'm too tired to get up."
"Mm… I guess we can stay here too if you prefer." Lucas shrugged a bit.
"Noooo, I want to go to the couch. I just don't want to move." Melissa mumbled, holding onto him. "Could you carry me??"
"Alright…" Lucas carefully picked Melissa up and brought the both of them over to the couch to lay down.
Melissa buried her face in his shoulder, holding onto him to try and make things easier. She figured her neediness was probably going to get annoying at some point, if not already, so she wanted to at least attempt to help. "Mm… thank you…"
"No problem, Mel… I love you…" Lucas held tighter to Melissa and sighed, trying to get closer.
"I love you, too…" Melissa whispered, kissing his shoulder softly. "You mean everything to me… I- um… and I'm sorry for all of this…"
"Mmm… you mean everything to me too, and you don't need to be sorry… it's gonna be okay, Mel…"
Melissa sighed weakly, nuzzling into his arms. "You're sure? I… I don't want to annoy you…"
"Mel, I'm just as clingy as you are, if not more. If anything, I'm the one probably annoying you most of the time."
"Right… I- um, you don't though. In case you're wondering." Melissa mumbled, looking up at him with a soft look.
"Mm…" Lucas huddled a little closer and sighed softly. "I love you…"
Melissa sighed weakly, resting her chin on his shoulder. “I love you, too.” She mumbled, keeping his close.
Lucas rested his head against Melissa's and sighed softly, falling silent for now.
Melissa gently rubbed circles into his back, playing with his hair with her other hand. She leaned into him, keeping quiet.
Lucas seemed to relax a little at the petting and loosened his grip on Melissa, although he was still a bit tense.
Melissa smiled softly, kissing his shoulder a couple times. She continued to pet him, and play with his hair. “Love you…”
"Love you too, Mel…" Lucas murmured softly, nuzzling into Melissa's touch with a soft sigh.
Melissa smiled a little more, arms wrapping around his neck. “Mm… you’re the best…”
"Mm… no you…" Lucas replied softly, a small smile making its way onto his features.
