"Yeah…." He sighed then put down his book and looked Ashton in the eyes. "If you would like to continue talking to me, go to the cafe down the street at one. Goodbye." Athan said then left.

"….wait…what?" did he just ask me out?????? he shrugged and sat down with his book, looking at the clock on the opposite wall, "that gives me an hour to read"

Athan walked home and put down his book in his room. Then drank some grape juice and walked out and all the way to the Cafe 9 blocks from his apartment.
Ashton got up, noticing that time had flown by and walked to the cafe, he didn't see Athan, so he grabbed a table and ordered hot chocolate

Athan walked in minutes later and ordered a caramel mocha cappuccino espresso with whipped cream.
He saw Athan and walked over "hey," he said shyly, not know if he should sit or stand or walk away

"hey. Want to sit?"
"thanks, what's that?" He asked, looking at the drink. "I haven't seen anyone order that before?"

"I just said a lot of random things."
He stared at the drink "…that's a lot of caffeine"

"yeah probably is." He said then drank some.
He looked at him in surprise then smiled "hope you get a sugar high from all that sugar." He took a sip of his own drink

"maybe I will." He said with a smile.
He smiled back "so what are we just going to sit around here all day?”

"it has only been 8 minutes." He replied.
"I know, I'm not saying we have to go anywhere now, I'm just planning ahead" He looked around the cafe "they should really liven this place up, it looks like a shady bar."

"if you think so………" he sighed.
"what's wrong?" he asked, afraid that Athan was getting bored, of the cafe, and of being around him

"Nothing is wrong. What do you want to do?"
Ashton shrugged "I don't know, have anything in mind?"

"I have nothing at all in mind. I didn't even plan for you to be here."
"what? thought i wouldn't show up? wow you have really low expectations of me then" he said with a smile "honestly I thought you weren't going to show up either"

"well you must have low expectations if you agreed to meet me here."
"expectations of what? I just met you, you invited me to a cafe, and I didn't want to be rude, so i showed up."

"Yeah ok. How are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"
He looked around to see if he was talking to someone else "uhh good? How are you?"

"pretty good" athan answered then sat there in an awkward silence.
"I'm guessing your waiting for the sugar to kick in?" He asked with a small smile

"Yeah, sort of." Athan said quietly.
He laughed "I don't think its going to kick while you're sitting, wanna go go karting?"
