She nods. "Yup!" Her ears stood straight up at attention and followed the sound of a crow, but her eyes stayed focused on the women before her.
Rooftops O/O (CLOSED)
Aliana looked at her for a moment. It was Hailey who spoke up next, "I suppose your already inked aren't you? No matter, we'll find a place for you here."
She nodded as she looked around. "So…where ah am I gonna be put then?" She asked. "Or I guess, how will you guys find out where I belong?"
"Well where would you like to go?" Aliana asked. She gestured to Hailey, "Hailey here is the leader of the resistant forces. If you're looking to be apart of the fight that's where you should go. I, myself, am in charge of those who don't want to fight. Otherwise," Aliana looked over to Chrysa.
Chrysa shot back a look before shrugging with a slight sigh, "You can come with me and risk your life and freedom on a daily basis."
Aliana nodded and looked back to Evelyn, "The choice is yours to choose."
"Hmmm…I'll fight. I'm handsy with just about any weapons handed to me." She said, twirling around her bat casually. "Sorry Chryssa. I'd love to join but ah can't risk that. Not with my brother out there." She shrugged.
Chrysa nodded and looked to Aliana. The other female waved her hand and the dragon left the metal hut making her way back towards her own base. Hailey stood up and nodded, "Great. Come with me I'll show you around."
She nodded and followed after her, a pep in her step as she continued to look around. Her ears continued to swivel, picking up on every little noise, even the squeaking of rats.
Hailey continued on walking showing Evelyn around, "You'll be staying with everyone else, you'll be called upon when I need you to do something. Foxes used to be known for their cunning, are you the same?"
"Of course. The way I carry myself in itself is a disguise. A little friendliness never hurt nobody though." She smiled as suddenly she turned around and growled at a large rat trying to bite her tail. It squeaked and ran off. She returned her attention to the leader. "Same heightened senses as well."
Hailey nodded. Her teeth barred slightly at the rat, but shook it off. Sometimes it was difficult to not go running after every animal, "I understand. I myself am a cheetah splice. Though my abilities are more advanced than yours, it's just a matter of circumstance though."
"You may be quicker, but less agile. And ya can't hear the family of rats that we just stepped on. So yes indeed, matter of circumstance." She shrugged and twirled around her bat boredly.
"Oh I assure you, I did," Hailey's ear twitched slightly as her tail swished back and forth. Her skin was full of black splotches similar to that of a cheetahs along with whiskers decorating her face. She gesutred to one of the metal huts, "Anyway. This is where you'll be staying for now."
She looked up and down at the hunt, and sniffed the air. "Smells like cigarettes and gasoline. I'll fit right in." She said as she walked towards it just a bit ahead of Hailey.
Hailey nodded along and turned to walk away, "Let me know if you need anything, otherwise get to know your new roommates."
Evelyn nervously padded over into the metal shack, and looked around at the other girls. Sadly she didn't see any familiar faces.
The girls all looked to Evelyn. One of the younger ones, she couldn't have been older than 7 or 8 popped out from the crowd and greeted her, "Hi! I'm Rose!"
"Well hi there Rose. I'm Evelyn." She smiled softly down at the girl, always a huge lover of children. "Would you mind showing me around a bit since I'm new here? Or know someone who will?" She asked sweetly, her ears flicking back and forth lazily.
"I can do it," Rose responded happily. She grabbed Evelyn's hand before running through the hut. She pointed to a little blanketed off area, "This is where I sleep! And that's probably where you'll sleep! No one is there at the moment."
She was pointed to a more bare bone spot that was slightly covered. She dragged Evelyn out of the hut and pointed to some of the other areas, "That's where the nice lady who gives out treats sometimes lives. And that's where my friend lives! She's sick at the moment so I can't talk to her."
Evelyn nodded as she looked around. "Alright, thank you sweetheart." She said with a nod as she looked around. "Where are some of the other girls who live here?" She asked as she looked around, sniffing the air a bit.
"Umm most were out watching the parade," Rose responded her eyes squinted in concentration, "Though they should be coming back any moment now."
"Alright well I guess then you'll have to keep me company while they arrive." She said with a smile as she investigated her new living space.
Rose grinned and began dragging her back to the original hut, "Come on! I have some games we can play!"
"Alright alright." She followed after the little girl with a smile. She didn't mind.
Rose grinned and pulled Eve towards a little board. She sat down on one side and pulled out a bunch of little pieces of plastic. They were in all different shapes and shades but one set was red and the other was blue, "Have you played before?"
"Is this chess? I've never been very good at it,but yes I've played." She asked as she sat down on the ground, running a hand through her hair.
"Mmmm, not chess," Rose shook her head and began setting up the red side of the board, "Checkers! I've never played chess before. That's for the big kids!"
"Well with how smart you are I figured you'd be considered a big kid." She said with a smile as she began to set up her side.
Rose giggle as she finished setting up. She sat down criss cross and moved a peice, "Okay! Now you go!"
She moved her piece, listening hard for the others. She didn't want to seem rude but meeting the other girls here would be nice.
Rose moved one of her pieces grinning. Footsteps could be heard in the distance along with the quiet chattering of discussion.
