(Remember the tense, Kate. Lol.
And sure!)
Sterling huffed in amusement, shaking his head a bit as he grabbed his drink and headed out the door.

(Oh right, rereading it I see what I did.)
Harlow didn't think much of this occasion. Just a friend hanging out with another. Harlow smiled to herself as she looked in the mirror, straining the last bit of her hair. Glad he's back, she thought. Harlow slipped on her favorite pair of mocassins, grabbed the dish off the counter and headed over to Sterling's door and rang the doorbell.
(I feel like that was really akw, but I didn't exactly know how to start.)
(Lol. That’s good, I’m glad you noticed!
Lol x2! It was fine, don’t worry.)
Sterling ran a hand through his hair one last time, then patted down his shirt, flattening a wrinkle. It was nice to see Harlow again, she was a great friend.
“Harlow, you’re here! Hey, come on in,” he said after opening the door for her.
"Hey," Harlow gave a smile and held up a dish of freshly baked raspberry cheesecake brownies, "I brought my favorite brownies." https://www.pinterest.com/pin/34973334592387680/
Sterling blinked, his eyebrows shooting up at the sight. “Wow. Harlow, those look amazing… All I did was order pizza,” he chuckled, shutting the door behind her and leading her to the kitchen.
"Thanks," Harlow gave a quick smirk and set the desert on the counter. Looking around Harlow noticed how in place everything was from when she last came over, aside from a few boxes in a corner. "Wow, this place hasn't changed a bit, its just like when we were kids."
"Ah. Yeah. I liked the feel of the old set up; it was nostalgic, ya know? So I just kinda happened to put my furniture in very similarly," Sterling explained as he grabbed a couple of plates out and handed her one.
"Hmm, I like it." Harlow accepted the plate but placed it on the countertop near the desert before wandering into the living room. Finding herself in front of the displayed photographs above the fireplace which was keeping warm.
Sterling did the same and followed her. He glanced over the photos, a soft look on his face. "I remember this day…" he mused, gesturing to a photo of them both in their swimsuits at a lake. "We were so cold after that swim our lips turned blue. And then your mom made the best s'mores…"
"Hmm, yeah." Harlow murmured, remembering the day. (Her mom's going to be dead, okai. And her dad is in uh… Colorado.) "This was my favorite," Harlow picked up the wooden frame and grazed a thumb over the glass protecting it. The image displayed a mountain pass that split into a valley, It was from when she had gone with Sterling's family the Sonoma Valley in California.
(You changed your username back… XD)
(Because that’s not sad at all.
Lol. Yeah, I did. I’m kinda attracted to it. 😁)
Sterling smiled softly at the picture. “That was fun, too… But I think my favorites have to be when we were up by the north shore. Canoeing, camping, even just staying in the hotel. Those were fun times…”
(Woe, did the site have an update??
Oohzz I like the username now! Its cute!!!)
"Hmm, fun times." Harlow agreed, thinking back on the memories. "So, how was Chicago?"
(1: Yes, it did. Lol.
2: Thanks!)
“Chicago was terrible,” Sterling sighed, rubbing a hand through his hair. “Too many people, too much traffic, too much of just about everything that I didn’t want to deal with… The only good thing was the food. Their pizza is the best.”
"Seems like my kind of place," Harlow laughed, "It's too slow here, too small." Harlow started back to the kitchen, "Speaking of pizza though…"
(Dude, I thought you were in class. Lol.)
Sterling chuckled and followed her back. “I got a couple of them. That way, we can each have one to ourselves if we want for than half a pizza,” he said, picking up a box from the counter and setting it down on the table.
(I was but I was typing this out b4 I said 'bye' so I had to finish XD
Sorry, I was gone for so long, was busy…)
Harlow gave a laugh, chuckling, "Well then, let's eat." Harlow flipped open the box of pizza to see the steam rise off of it, she inhaled deeply, "Ugh, I love pizza…"
(Oof. Lol.)
“Oh, I definitely remember that!” Sterling laughed as he watched her with carefully guarded interest. “You and your pizza…”
Harlow grabbed the plate beside her and slid half the pizza onto it, "Hmm, delicious," Harlow hummed out as a satisfied groan escaped her stuffed face. Chewing her food she gave a Sterling a serious glare, "I do believe staring is considered rude," Harlow snorted out a laugh before taking another bite.
Sterling choked back another laugh as he picked yo his own slice of pizza and took a bite. He hummed in satisfaction as the flavors hit his tongue. “Gosh, I missed pizza. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had it.”
(Idk where to go from here XD I'm just going to make something up…)
Harlow made her way around the corner, bringing along her food and drink, into the living room, "Should we watch a movie, or talk. Its been a while since we've hung out…?"
(Lol. That’s what we all do. Except Callie and me. We actually plan stuff beforehand. Lol.)
“Hm… Well, I’m down for watching a movie if you want. Otherwise, talking is good, too,” Sterling hummed as he picked his things up and followed her.
(Ugh XD Every time I write out Harlow's lines it's meant for Sterling to decide what to do, LOL, its fine tho)
Harlow shrugged her shoulders and continued chewing her food before plopping down on the couch, "How about a movie first."
(Lol. Well, thanks. I appreciate doing all the work. ;P)
Sterling nodded, sitting down and pulling a blanket from the back of the couch and setting it on his lap. "Something Marvel?"
(Not what I meant… XD I just don't know where to take the story)
"Absolutely," Harlow cheered. "Which ones do you have?"
(Lol. I was teasing you. ;)
Sterling chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. “Well… I think I’ve got them all…”
Harlow only laughed before she replied, "The beginning it is." (I'm pretty sure ironman was the first…)
(Chronologically, it’s Captain America: The First Avenger.)
Sterling chuckled and set his pizza down to make his way over to the DVD case beside his tv. He pulled out the movie and stuck it in the DVD player, grabbed the remote, and sat back down. “Ready?”
(Okai, I literally was thinking which was first and Cap and Ironman were the first two I thought of. So they're watching Captain America.)
"Remember when we were younger and we fought over which Avenger was the best, and how if we were to be an Avenger who would save more lives?" Harlow laughed at the sweet memory from long ago.
(Lol. I think Iron Man is next…)
"Oh, gosh," Sterling laughed, shaking his head. "Those were good times. I still think I would win, though."
